Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Fibre New Customer Rebate Offer for Selected Areas (September - December 2023)

    1. The Offer: Comprises of the following Offers, which entitle you to enjoy the following rebates when you sign up for any of the applicable Maxis Fibre Plans for installation at selected postcodes (as provided in Clause 9):

    Offer A Monthly rebate of RM20 on the applicable Maxis Fibre Plan for twelve (12) months (“Rebate A”) Maxis Fibre 30Mbps

    Offer ended on 4th October 2023
    Monthly rebate of RM20 on the applicable Maxis Fibre Plan for twenty- four (24) months (“Rebate B”) Maxis Fibre 100Mbps and 300Mbps

    Please note that:

    • The applicable rebates will commence within the second (2nd) or third (3rd) month after the successful installation of your Maxis Fibre Service; and
    • Each Maxis Fibre Plan is subject to a 24 months’ commitment period (inclusive of rebate duration), as per the Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Fibre.
    1. You: Person(s) signing up for any of the Offers.
    2. The Offers and your use of the Service(s) under the Offers are subject to:
    3. In this SSTC:
      • Rebate Periods” means Rebate Period A (as defined in Appendix A) and Rebate Period B (as defined in Appendix B);
      • "Rebates" means Rebate A and Rebate B; and
      • unless otherwise specified in this SSTC, other capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    4. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the Maxis Fibre SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) Maxis Fibre SSTC; (c) GTC; and (d) STC.
    5. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the Offers and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Offers (at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/promotions/home-internet/new-customer-rebate-offer-for-selected-areas) and the Plan(s) / Service(s) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/), including changes to the Agreement. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you are entitled to terminate the Plan(s) / Service(s) under the Offers and/or the use of the Plan(s) / Service(s) under the Offers by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes. Save where terminated based on the foregoing, any continued use of the Plan(s) / Service(s) under the Offers (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Agreement and/or Service(s) relevant to the Offers) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same.

      • Appendix B for Offer B.
    1. The eligibility to the Offer is subject to the following criteria:
      • the Offer is offered to you by Maxis’ dealers or authorized dealers;
      • your installation address for Maxis Fibre is within the selected postcodes (as provided in Clause 9);
      • you must register for a new plan for Maxis Fibre Service on the same day the Offer is offered to you;
      • you must not have any outstanding payments with us; and
      • you are not a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    2. The selected postcodes for the Offer are:
      • Kedah: 5150, 8000, 9100, 9300, 9000, 9600, 89600, 8100
      • Johor: 81900, 81901, 81902, 81903, 81904, 81905, 81906, 81907, 81908, 81000, 81400, 81700, 81401, 81402, 82158
      • Kuala Lumpur: 59200
      • Melaka: 78000, 75450, 77000, 77200, 75250, 75260
      • Perak: 31000, 31300, 31550, 31200, 30000, 30010, 30020, 30100, 30200, 30650, 31150, 31250, 31310, 31315, 31350, 31400, 31450, 31500, 31650, 31301, 31302
      • Penang: 11600, 11900, 12100, 12200, 12300, 13000, 13400, 13700, 13500
      • Selangor: 47301, 63000, 63100
    3. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria and the selected postcodes for the Offer from time to time.
    1. The applicable Charges and rate table guide for the Plan(s) and Service(s) under the Offers are as set out on our official website at https://www.maxis.com.my/broadband/maxis-fibre/. Charges displayed do not include applicable taxes.
    2. For the avoidance of doubt, the Rebates are only applicable to the Maxis Fibre Plan that you signed up under the Offers. Charges for other product(s) and/or service(s) that you have subscribed from us will still continue in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
    1. You shall NOT during the applicable Rebate Periods:
      • terminate your Maxis Fibre Plan;
      • suspend your Maxis Fibre Plan;
      • have your Maxis Fibre Plan terminated for non-payment of monthly bills;
      • change or transfer ownership of your Maxis Fibre Plan to another person; or
      • upgrade/downgrade your Maxis Fibre Plan.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 13 occurs, you will no longer be entitled to the Rebates under the relevant Offers.
    3. For the avoidance of doubt, Maxis Fibre Plan is subject to a Commitment Period (as defined in the Maxis Fibre SSTC) and we reserve the right to charge you an early termination charge (as per the Maxis Fibre SSTC) if the Plan and/or Service (signed up under the Offer) is terminated before the end of the Commitment Period.
    1. The Offer cannot be used together with other Maxis Fibre offers, promotions and campaigns.
    2. The Offers cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
    3. The Offers are not transferable.
    4. The Offers are not applicable to Maxis employees (permanent or contract).

  1. Offer Availability Period: 12th September 2023 until 11th December 2023.

    1. After the successful installation of the Maxis Fibre Service (signed up under Offer A) at your Premise, Maxis will assign the Rebate to your Maxis Fibre monthly bills, as follows:
      • Rebate A will commence within the second (2nd) month or third (3rd) month after the successful installation of the Maxis Fibre Service, on a date as determined by Maxis (“Rebate Assignment Date A”) and the applicable Rebate A will be spread over the next twelve (12) months’ period (“Rebate Period A”).
        Example:
        If the Rebate Assignment Date A, as determined by Maxis, is on the 15th day of the second (2nd) month after the successful installation of the Maxis Fibre Service:

      1. For the avoidance of doubt, you will be required to pay the full or pro-rated monthly Charges for your Maxis Fibre Plan prior to the Rebate Assignment Date A;
      2. After the expiry of the Rebate Period A, the full monthly Charges for the respective Maxis Fibre Plan will apply.

APPENDIX B (OFFER B)

  1. Offer Availability Period: From 12th September 2023 until 4th October 2023.

APPENDIX A (OFFER A)

    1. After the successful installation of the Maxis Fibre Service (signed up under Offer B) at your Premise, Maxis will assign the Rebate to your Maxis Fibre monthly bills, as follows:
      • Rebate B will commence within the second (2nd) month or third (3rd) month after the successful installation of the Maxis Fibre Service, as determined by Maxis (“Rebate Assignment Date B”) and the applicable Rebate B will be spread over the next twenty-four (24) months’ period (“Rebate Period B”).
        Example:
        If the Rebate Assignment Date B, as determined by Maxis, is on the 15th day of the second (2nd) month after the successful installation of the Maxis Fibre Service:

      2. After the expiry of the Rebate Period B, the full monthly Charges for the respective Maxis Fibre Plan will apply.
