Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Postpaid sooka Premium Complimentary on Us Campaign

Version 13th August 2025

    1. Campaign: Maxis Postpaid sooka Premium Complimentary on Us Campaign (“Campaign”).
    2. You: Person(s) who sign(s) up for any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s) under this Campaign.
    3. Participating Maxis Plan(s): Any Maxis Postpaid 139, 169 or 199, which terms and conditions are at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid-plan/ (“Maxis Postpaid SSTC”).
    4. Offer: 6 months free access to sooka Premium subscription (“Offer”).
    5. Campaign Period: Effective from 13th August 2025 to 31st October 2025 (both dates inclusive) or such other period as may be determined by Maxis.
    6. This Campaign and the use of the Service(s) are subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-consumer/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Postpaid sooka premium Complimentary on Us Campaign (“SSTC”), Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) at www.maxis.com.my/FUP and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
    7. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    8. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and the Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    9. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Campaign and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Campaign, our plan(s) and Service(s) at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
    1. In order to be eligible to participate in the Campaign, you must be a new or an existing principal line holder who: 
      1. Is an existing principal line holder or change rate plan to any Participating Maxis Plan(s) during the Campaign Period or,
      2. Signs up to a new line or ports-in for any Participating Maxis Plan(s) during the Campaign Period, and
      3. be of at least 18 years’ old.
    2. You are ineligible to participate in the Campaign if:
      1. you have any outstanding payments with us; and/or 
      2. you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    3. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility for the Offer is subject to Maxis absolute discretion and Maxis reserves the right to alter the eligibility criteria for this Offer from time to time.
    1. To enjoy the Offer, you must subscribe to any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s) during the Campaign Period.
    2. You must create a new account with Sooka in order to enjoy the Offer.
    3. By participating in this Campaign, you accept and agree to be bound by the Maxis Postpaid SSTC as stipulated in Clause 3 above.
    1. Subject to the fulfilment of the term and conditions of this SSTC and successful registration of any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s), you will enjoy 6 months free access to sooka Premium subscription.
    2. After the end of the sooka Premium 6 months access, you will be charged the normal price of sooka Premium monthly fee unless you unsubscribe before month 7th of your sooka Premium subscription.
    3. You will be able to check your Offer subscription or unsubscribe from Maxis Lifestyle page at https://lifestyle.maxis.com.my/en/entertainment
    1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with this Campaign and the Participating Maxis Plan(s) you signed up for both during and after the Campaign Period. Charges exclude any applicable taxes.
    1. During the Campaign Period, you shall NOT:
      1. terminate or suspend the Participating Maxis Plan which you have subscribed for under this Campaign; 
      2. cause your Maxis Postpaid account terminated for non-payment of monthly Bills; or
      3. change or transfer ownership of the registered Participating Maxis Plan to another person.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 20 above occurs, you will no longer be entitled to the Offer and any remaining rebate will be forfeited with immediate effect.
    1. The Offer is not redeemable and not refundable/exchangeable for cash.
    2. Only one (1) Offer is valid and given to each MSISDN on new activation or existing of the Participating Maxis Plan.
    3. Maxis reserves the right to forfeit the Offer if our attempt to fulfil the Offer to you fails for any reason whatsoever.
    4. Maxis’ decision on who are eligible and entitled to the Offer shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal at any time during or after the Campaign Period.
    5. Maxis shall not be liable to you or any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a participant or such other party as a result of participation or non-participation in the Campaign or as a result of any act or omission on Maxis’ part.
    6. Maxis reserves the rights in its sole and absolute discretion to withdraw or to modify the terms of this Service(s) and/or Promotion (including the monthly renewal fee and applicable charges) at any time without notice to you and with no liability.
    7. This Promotion is not valid with other ongoing promotion and not exchangeable for cash or credit-in-kind. The Promotion cannot be stacked, combined and/or accumulated unless stated otherwise.
    8. Maxis is not responsible for any content streamed, broadcasted and/or published in Sooka and/or any activity carried out thereon.
    9. The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
