Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Super Streamer Combo (“SSTC”)

This SSTC shall govern and regulate the subscription to and use of the Super Streamer Combo (“Super Streamer Combo” or “Offer”) made available by Maxis.

By subscribing to the Super Streamer Combo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this SSTC.

      4. Maxis Family Plan, which terms and conditions are at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/family-plan/general/

        (collectively as, “Plan SSTC”)

    4. This Offer and use of the Service(s) are subject to the General Terms & Conditions of Service(s) – Maxis Consumer (“GTC”) at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/maxis-consumer/, this SSTC, Maxis Fair Usage Policy at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/ (“FUP”), Plan SSTC, any other applicable terms and conditions at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/ and the terms and conditions of the respective participating streaming partners.
    5. Any conflict or inconsistency between the GTC, this SSTC, and the Summary Terms and Conditions of Maxis Services (“STC”) shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) Plan SSTC, (c) GTC; and (d) STC. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this SSTC shall prevail over the Plan SSTC only to the extent of any conflict or inconsistency in relation to the Offer, and the Plan SSTC shall continue to govern the applicable Maxis Participating Plan(s).
    6. Maxis reserves the right, without liability to you, to vary, add to, remove or otherwise amend this SSTC or the manner in which the Offer is conducted, or to suspend, restrict or discontinue the Offer, whether in whole or in part, at any time and as Maxis deems appropriate, with or without prior notice to you.  Where reasonably practicable, Maxis will provide reasonable advance notice of any such variation, addition or amendment in such manner as Maxis considers reasonable and appropriate.  Where prior notice is required under applicable laws, regulations, codes or guidelines, Maxis will provide you with not less than fifteen (15) Working Days' prior written notice, or such other period as may be required or permitted under such applicable laws, regulations, codes or guidelines. Unless otherwise specified in the notice, any variation, addition or amendment will take effect on the date specified in the notice or, where no date is specified, on the date it is published on Maxis’ official website (the “Effective Date”). You are responsible for checking Maxis’ official website from time to time for the latest version of this SSTC.  Your continued use of the Offer, and/or Service(s) after the Effective Date constitutes your acceptance of the variation, addition or amendment, and you will be bound by it.  If you do not accept any variation, addition or amendment, you may terminate the Agreement, Offer, and/or Service(s) by giving Maxis notice within twenty-eight (28) days from the date of the notice of such variation, addition or amendment, or, where no notice is given, from the Effective Date. If you do not do so within that period, you will be deemed to have accepted the variation, addition or amendment.
    1. The Super Streamer Combo is available to eligible Maxis and Hotlink customers who have an active service account and meet all of the following eligibility criteria:
      1. is a Maxis or Hotlink subscriber;
      2. is a resident in Malaysia;
      3. is at least 18 years of age; and
      4. has signed up and maintains an active account under any of the Maxis Participating Plan(s) throughout the subscription period.
    2. Notwithstanding Clause 7 above, you are ineligible for this Offer if:
      1. you have any outstanding payments, or a barred or suspended account with us; or
      2. you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    3. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria for this Offer from time to time.
    1. The Super Streamer Combo allows eligible customers to select and subscribe to a combination of participating streaming services made available by Maxis from time to time.
    2. A minimum of two (2) of participating streaming services must be selected, and a maximum of three (3) participating streaming services may be selected for subscription under the Super Streamer Combo.
    3. Customers who wish to subscribe to only one (1) participating streaming service may subscribe separately to the applicable Super Streamer standalone offer at the prevailing price.
    4. All participating streaming services selected under the Super Streamer Combo shall form one bundled subscription and shall share the same subscription commencement date, renewal date and expiry date.
    5. Participating streaming services may include Viu, iQIYI, CMGO or such other streaming partners as may be introduced by Maxis from time to time.
    6. The availability and use of each participating streaming service are subject to the respective streaming partner's service availability, terms of use and applicable service requirements. Maxis does not represent or warrant that any participating streaming service will be continuously available, and shall not be responsible for any interruption, suspension, modification or discontinuation of any participating streaming service by the relevant streaming partner, or for any technical failure or malfunction affecting such participating streaming service, to the extent caused by the relevant streaming partner or Matters beyond Our Reasonable Control.  
    1. The monthly subscription fee for the Super Streamer Combo shall be determined based on the number of participating streaming services selected at the point of subscription.
    2. Unless otherwise specified by Maxis, the applicable subscription fees are as set out on our official website at https://lifestyle.maxis.com.my/en/superstreamercombo.
    3. The subscription fees stated above are exclusive of applicable Service Tax (“SST”) and any other applicable taxes imposed by law. Such taxes shall be borne by the customer and charged in addition to the applicable subscription fees.
    4. The total subscription fees payable, including applicable taxes, will be displayed or reflected to you through the applicable Maxis or Hotlink billing channel.
    5. Maxis may revise the subscription fees or pricing structure, or both, from time to time. Where applicable, affected customers will be notified of any revised subscription fees or pricing structure prior to the effective date of such revision.
    6. You will be notified of applicable charges of your Super Streamer Combo via SMS sent to your registered mobile number within seventy-two (72) hours prior to the expiry of the subscription period for the Super Streamer Combo purchased.
    1. The Super Streamer Combo is a monthly subscription that automatically renews each month, unless otherwise specified by Maxis.
    2. Your Super Streamer Combo subscription will commence upon successful activation.
    3. All participating streaming services selected under the Super Streamer Combo will be activated as part of the same subscription.
    4. The Super Streamer Combo will automatically renew for successive thirty (30)-day periods on each applicable renewal date unless cancelled by the customer prior to the applicable renewal date in accordance with this SSTC.
    5. The applicable monthly subscription fees, together with applicable taxes, will be charged to your Maxis bill, Hotlink credit or such other payment method made available by Maxis.
    6. You are responsible for ensuring that your Maxis or Hotlink account remains active and, where applicable, has sufficient credit or available billing limit for successful renewal.
    1. You may purchase the Super Streamer Combo through Maxis app, Hotlink App or Maxis Lifestyle Portal.
    2. You must select all participating streaming services to be included in the Super Streamer Combo at the point of subscription.
    3. Once the Super Streamer Combo has been successfully activated, you will not be permitted to add, remove, replace or change any individual participating streaming service during the active subscription period.
    4. All participating streaming services selected under the Super Streamer Combo shall remain part of the same bundled subscription until the subscription is cancelled by the customer in accordance with this SSTC and has expired.
    5. You will need to register and set up your account with the relevant streaming partner(s) that you have selected before you can start streaming on the platform of such streaming partner(s).
    6. If you wish to change your selection of participating streaming services, you must first cancel your existing Super Streamer Combo subscription in accordance with this SSTC.
    7. If you cancel your Super Streamer Combo in accordance with this SSTC, you may continue to access all participating streaming services included in the Super Streamer Combo until the end of the then-current paid subscription period.
    8. After the then-current subscription period has expired, you may subscribe to a new Super Streamer Combo under this Offer and select a new combination of participating streaming services, subject to availability and eligibility at that time.
    1. You may manage your Super Streamer Combo subscription, including cancelling the Super Streamer Combo, through the Maxis App by selecting “View Details” under your profile followed by Lifestyle Services, or via https://lifestyle.maxis.com.my/en/manageAccount by logging into your account.
    2. The Super Streamer Combo may only be cancelled in its entirety. You cannot cancel an individual participating streaming service while retaining any of the other streaming services under the same Super Streamer Combo.
    3. Upon cancellation, the Super Streamer Combo will not automatically renew for the next subscription period.
    4. No refund, whether in whole or in part, including any prorated refund will be provided for any unutilised portion of the then-current paid subscription period following cancellation of the Super Streamer Combo or the Super Streamer standalone subscription, unless otherwise required by applicable law or determined by Maxis.  
    5. For the avoidance of doubt, the termination of your Maxis Participating Plan(s), or the change of your Maxis Participating Plan(s) to any non-eligible plan(s), will result in the immediate termination of your eligibility for and access to the Super Streamer Combo, and no refund will be provided for any unutilised portion of the then-current paid subscription period, unless otherwise required by applicable law or determined by Maxis.
    6. Upon expiry of the then-current paid subscription period, access to all participating streaming services and the associated unlimited streaming data benefit under the Super Streamer Combo will cease.
    1. Customers with an active Super Streamer standalone subscription for a particular streaming service may not select the same streaming service as part of the Super Streamer Combo while the standalone subscription remains active.
    2. For example, if you have active Super Streamer standalone subscription for Viu, you will not be able to select Viu as part of your Super Streamer Combo under this Offer until the standalone Viu subscription has been cancelled and the applicable subscription period has expired.
    3. Cancellation of a Super Streamer standalone subscription will take effect upon the expiry of its then-current paid subscription period, and access to the relevant streaming services will remain available until such expiry date.
    4. Once the Super Streamer standalone subscription has expired, you may select the relevant streaming service as part of a new Super Streamer Combo subscription under this Offer, subject to eligibility and availability at that time.
    5. Existing Super Streamer standalone subscriptions will not be automatically converted or migrated to the Super Streamer Combo under this Offer.
    1. An active Super Streamer Combo subscription includes unlimited mobile data for eligible streaming usage across all participating streaming services selected under the Super Streamer Combo pursuant to this Offer.
    2. The unlimited streaming data benefit applies only when:
      1.  you access the participating streaming services using an eligible Maxis or Hotlink mobile line;
      2.  your Super Streamer Combo subscription remains active;
      3.  the usage is within the coverage of the Maxis or Hotlink local mobile network in Malaysia; and
      4. the usage is recognised by Maxis as eligible streaming traffic from the relevant participating streaming services.
    3. The unlimited streaming data benefit does not apply when you are roaming outside Malaysia. Any streaming usage when you are roaming will be subject to the applicable roaming pass, roaming charges or data entitlement.
    4. This Offer is provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Offer including warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, security and accuracy. 
    5. Maxis’ decision on your eligibility and entitlement to the Offer shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal.
    6. This Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other ongoing promotions and is not exchangeable for cash or credit-in-kind. Any unutilised portion of the subscription period of the Super Streamer Combo is not encashable or refundable.  The Super Streamer Combo is tied to your Maxis Participating Plan(s) used for its subscription and is not transferable.
    7. Maxis is not an agent, subsidiary or affiliate of Viu, iQIYI, CMGO, or such other streaming partners as may be introduced by Maxis from time to time, and makes no representation or warranties as to the quality, accessibility, or operation of the streaming platforms or content provided by such streaming partner, and shall not be liable for any loss or damages that you have incurred or suffered from streaming on such streaming partner’s platform.
    8. Maxis is not responsible or liable for any content streamed, broadcast or published in Viu, iQIYI, CMGO, or any other streaming partners that may be introduced by Maxis from time to time, or for any activity carried out on or through such streaming services.
    9. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives shall not be liable to you or to anyone else for any indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or anticipated savings, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the Offer. 
    10. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Offer and/or Service(s) for such time as we deems fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the subscription of the Super Streamer Combo and/or Service(s) if, in our sole view, we determine that your usage:
      1.  is excessive or places unusual burdens on the Network;
      2.  is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3.  is not in accordance with FUP; or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
