Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – K-KOMM Southern Region Maxis Fibre Offer

    1. This Offer: Sign up for any of the Maxis Fibre Plans, to be installed at the selected areas in Melaka, Johor and Negeri Sembilan (please refer to Clause 8) to enjoy RM50 monthly rebate on your Maxis Fibre monthly bill for a duration of 24 months (“Rebate”). Please note that:
      1. Rebate will commence on the second (2nd) month of your Maxis Fibre Plan upon successful installation; and
      2. Each Maxis Fibre Plan is subject to a 24 months’ commitment period (inclusive of rebate duration), as per the Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Fibre.
      3. You are not entitled to sign up for Home Zerolution at www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/devices/home-internet/home-zerolution/ under this Offer.
    2. You: Person(s) signing up for this Offer.
    3. Offer Availability Period: 8th December 2022 until further notice issued by Maxis. Any extension or discontinuation of this Offer shall be at the Maxis’ discretion.
    4. This Offer is subject to General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), the Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Fibre (“Maxis Fibre SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/ and https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/promotions/campaign/kkomm-southern-region-maxis-fibre-offer/.
    5. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    6. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the Maxis Fibre SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) this SSTC; (b) Maxis Fibre SSTC; (c) GTC; and (d) STC.
    7. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the Offer and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on this Offer at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/promotions/campaign/kkomm-southern-region-maxis-fibre-offer/ and Service(s) at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or this Offer (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Agreement and/or Service(s) relevant to this Offer) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate this Offer and/ or the use of the Service(s) by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.
    1. This Offer is only applicable for installation of Maxis Fibre at selective sites in Melaka, Johor and Negeri Sembilan (“K-KOMM Southern Region”) pursuant to a project with Kementerian Komunikasi Digital (previously known as “Kementerian Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia) (“K-KOMM”).
    2. The eligibility to this Offer is subject to the following criteria:
      1. this Offer is offered to you by Maxis’ dealer or authorized resellers;
      2. your installation address for Maxis Fibre is within the K-KOMM Southern Region areas;
      3. you are currently NOT an existing customer / subscriber of Maxis Fibre;
      4. you must register for a new plan for Maxis Fibre on the same day the Offer is offered to you;
      5. you must not have any outstanding payments with us; and
      6. you are not a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    3. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria and the selected sites for Maxis Fibre installation for this Offer from time to time.
    1. The applicable Charges and rate table guide for the Service is as set out on our official website at https://www.maxis.com.my/broadband/maxis-fibre/ as updated from time to time. Charges displayed do not include applicable taxes.
    2. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with this Offer (if any) both during and after the Rebate Period (as defined in Clause 14 below).
    1. After the successful installation of the Maxis Fibre Service (signed up under the Offer) at your Premises, Maxis will assign the Rebate to your Maxis Fibre Plan monthly bills as follows:

      1. the Rebate will commence in the second (2nd) month of your Maxis Fibre Plan, as determined by Maxis (“Rebate Assignment Date”) and the applicable Rebate will be spread over the next twenty-five (25) months’ period.

        Example:
        If the Rebate commences on the twentieth (20th) day of the second (2nd) month, you are required to pay:
        • 1st month: full monthly Charge with no Rebate
        • 2nd month: monthly Charge less pro-rate Rebate (from the 20th till the last day of the month)
        • 3rd to 25th month: monthly Charge less Rebate (i.e. RM50.00), each month
        • 26th month: monthly Charge less remaining pro-rated Rebate (i.e. if the pro-rated Rebate on the 2nd month was 40% of the full Rebate, then remaining Rebate for the 26th month is 60% of the full Rebate)
      2. After the Rebate Period, the full monthly Charges (with no Rebate) for the Maxis Fibre Plan will apply.
    1. You shall NOT during the period of twenty-four (24) months from the Rebate Assignment Date (“Rebate Period”):
      1. terminate your Maxis Fibre Plan;
      2. suspend your Maxis Fibre Plan;
      3. have your Maxis Service terminated for non-payment of monthly bills;
      4. change or transfer ownership of your Maxis Fibre Plan to another person; or
      5. downgrade your Maxis Fibre Plan.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 14 above occurs, you will no longer be entitled to the Rebate under this Offer and will be subject to termination charge as provided under the Maxis Fibre SSTC.
    3. To discontinue and/or terminate the Service, you must go to any Maxis Centre.
    1. A deposit of RM300 for the Maxis Fibre Plan is chargeable for non-Malaysians subscribing for the Offer.
    1. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service under the Offer for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect any of such Service if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burden on our Network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/; or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
    1. This Offer is not exchangeable for cash.
    2. This Offer is not transferable.
    3. This Offer is not applicable to Maxis employees (permanent or contract).
