Terms & Conditions

Service Specific Term & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Postpaid and Fibre Bundle Promotion

Version [25 April 2024]

    1. The Promotion: Enjoy a promotional price for the monthly Charges on your Maxis Home Fibre Plans (subject to eligibility as follows) (“Promo Price”)* if you sign up to any of the following:
      1. Eligible Postpaid Plan* (if you are an existing customer of any Eligible Home Fibre Plan*) (“Promo A”)
      2. Eligible Home Fibre Plan* (if you are an existing customer of any Eligible Postpaid Plan*) (“Promo B”)
      3. Eligible Postpaid Plan* AND Eligible Home Fibre Plan* (if you are not an existing customer of Eligible Postpaid Plan and Eligible Maxis Home Fibre Plan (“Promo C”)

        *Note:
    Definitions Promo Price
    Eligible Postpaid Plan means: i. ANY Maxis Postpaid Plans N/A
    ii. ANY Hotlink Postpaid 60 and 70 Plans N/A
    Eligible Maxis Home Fibre Plan means iii. Maxis Home Fibre 300 Mbps RM99/month
    iv. Maxis Home Fibre 500 Mbps RM139/month
    v. Maxis Home Fibre 1 Gbps RM159/month
    1. You: Person(s) signing up for the Promotion.
    2. Promotion Availability Period: 25 April 2024 to 31 May 2024, subject to changes by Maxis.
    3. The Promotion and your use of the Service(s) under the Promotion is subject to:
      1. the General Term & Conditions (“GTC”) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/maxis-consumer/ (for Maxis Postpaid and Maxis Home Fibre) and https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/ (for Hotlink Postpaid));
      2. this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“this SSTC”) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/promotions/home-internet/postpaid-and-fibre-bundle-promo-apr2024);
      3. the Service Specific Terms & Conditions for Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre (“Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & Fibre SSTC”) (at  https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/maxis-unlimited-postpaid-fibre-plan/) – For Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Maxis Home Fibre;
      4. the Service Terms & Conditions for Maxis Home Fibre (“Maxis Home Fibre SSTC”) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/home-internet/maxis-fibre/) – For Maxis Home Fibre Plans;
      5. the Service Specific Terms & Conditions for Hotlink Postpaid 30, 45, 60 and 70 (“Hotlink Postpaid SSTC”) (at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products/postpaid/sstc/) – For Hotlink Postpaid 60 and 70 Plans; and
      6. any other applicable terms and conditions, all at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/ and https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/.
      Any conflict or inconsistency between the above terms & conditions, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (i) this SSTC; (ii) Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & Fibre SSTC, Maxis Home Fibre SSTC or Hotlink Postpaid SSTC, whichever is applicable; and (iii) GTC.
    4. Unless otherwise specified in this SSTC, all capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    5. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the Promotion and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Promotion (at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/promotions/home-internet/postpaid-and-fibre-bundle-promo-apr2024) and the Service(s) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/ and https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/), including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) under the Promotion (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Agreement and/or Service(s) relevant to the Promotion) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you are entitled to terminate the Agreement and/or the Service(s) under the Promotion by giving us notice within fifteen (15) Working Days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.
    1. Please refer to the following eligibility criteria:

    (a) you must be an existing customer of any Eligible Home Fibre Plan you must be an existing customer of any Eligible Postpaid Plan you must signed up for an Eligible Post Plan AND Eligible Maxis Home Fibre Plan
     (b) you must not have any outstanding payments with us; and
    (c) You are not a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    1. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria for the Promotion from time to time.
    2. Others:
      1. if you are an existing customer or signed up to Maxis Postpaid Plan under this Promotion: your Maxis Postpaid Plan and Maxis Home Fibre Plan (signed up under this Promo) will be converted to Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre (subject to Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre SSTC) upon the successful (a) installation of your Maxis Home Fibre Service; and (b) activation of your Maxis / Hotlink Postpaid Service.
      2. if you an existing customer or signed up to Hotlink Postpaid Plan under this Promotion: you will not be eligible to sign up to the Hotlink Postpaid 60 with Home Internet Plan.
    1. The applicable Charges and rate table guide for the Service(s) under the Promotion are as set out on our official website at (a) https://www.maxis.com.my/en/broadband/ (for Maxis Home Fibre); (b) https://www.maxis.com.my/en/mobile-plans/unlimited-postpaid-fibre/ (for Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre); and (c) https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/products/postpaid/(for Hotlink Postpaid 60 and 70), as updated from time to time. Charges displayed do not include applicable taxes.
    2. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with the Promotion and Service(s) under the Promotion.
    3. Others:
      1. For Promo A: The Promo Price will only be applicable to you in the following month’s bill (for the Eligible Maxis Home Fibre Plan) after the successful activation of your Maxis / Hotlink Postpaid Service (signed up under this Promotion).
      2. For Promo B and Promo C: The Promo Price will only be applicable to you latest from your second (2nd) monthly bill cycle onwards after the successful installation of your Maxis Home Fibre Service (signed up under this Promotion).
    1. In order to enjoy the Promo Price, you shall not:
      1. terminate or suspend your Eligible Postpaid Plan and/or Eligible Maxis Home Fibre Plan;
      2. have your Service(s) terminated for non-payment of monthly bills; or
      3. upgrade or downgrade your Maxis Home Fibre Plan.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 13 occurs, you will no longer be entitled to the Promo Price and may be further subject to the following:
      1. if you terminate you Eligible Maxis Home Fibre Plan, you may be subject to early termination charge pursuant to Maxis Home Fibre SSTC; and
      2. if you terminate your Eligible Postpaid Plan, your Eligible Maxis Home Fibre Plan shall continue, but subject to the retail price of the Maxis Home Fibre rateplan until terminated pursuant to Maxis Home Fibre SSTC.
    3. To discontinue and/or terminate the Service(s), you must go to a Maxis Centre.
    4. Maxis reserves the right to terminate the Service(s) under the Promotion in the instance you suspend any of the Service(s) under the Promotion for any period exceeding 3 consecutive months and the early termination charge as per Clause 11 may apply.
    1. A deposit of RM500 is chargeable for non-Malaysians signing up for the Eligible Maxis Home Fibre Plan under the Promotion.
    2. Non-payment for any one of the Service(s) may result in suspension or barring of all or a part of the Service(s) under this Promotion until the outstanding amount is paid.
    1. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) under the Promotion for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect any of such Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burden on our Network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/) ; or
      4. is for commercial / non-personal purposes.
    1. The Promotion is not exchangeable for cash.
    2. The Promotion is not transferable.
