Terms & Conditions

Service Specific Terms & Conditions –Maxis Postpaid Rebate with Outright Purchase of iPhone (“SSTC”)

    1. Campaign: Maxis Postpaid Rebate with Outright Purchase of iPhone. 
    2. You: Person(s) who participate in this Campaign in accordance with the terms of this SSTC.
    3. Maxis Participating Plan(s):
      1. Maxis Postpaid, which terms and conditions are at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid/;
      2. Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre, which terms and conditions are at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/maxis-unlimited-postpaid-fibre/; and
      3. Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Home WiFi, which terms and conditions are at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/maxis-unlimited-postpaid-and-home-wifi/.
    4. Offer: Monthly Bill rebate of RM10 for a duration of 24 months.
    5. Campaign Period: 18th April 2024 until 18th June 2024 (both dates inclusive) or such other period as may be determined by us.
    6. The Campaign and use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-consumer/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Postpaid Rebate with Outright Purchase of iPhone Offer (“SSTC”), Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) at www.maxis.com.my/FUP and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
    7. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    8. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    9. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Campaign, Offer and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Campaign, Offer, plan(s) and Service(s) at  www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Campaign, Offer, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
    1. In order for you to receive and continuously enjoy the Offer, you must:
      1. subscribe to any of the Maxis Participating Plans with an outright purchase of an iPhone from Maxis;
      2. be a new principal line holder of any of the Maxis Participating Plans;
      3. not have purchased the iPhone on a Normal or Zerolution contract;
      4. be of at least 18 years’ old; and
      5. remain an active subscriber and are up to date with all your payments.
    2. You are ineligible to participate in the Offer if:
      1. you have any outstanding payments with us; and/or
      2. you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    3. Unless otherwise authorised by us, this Offer is not stackable with any other bill rebate(s) from us during and after activation of the Maxis Participating Plan you signed up for pursuant to this SSTC. You are responsible to check and confirm your continuous enjoyment over this Offer prior to signing up any other offers made available or campaign oraganised by us from time to time.
    4. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility is subject to our absolute discretion. Maxis reserves the right to review your eligibility for this Offer every twenty-four (24) months and/or change the eligibility criteria for this Offer from time to time. Should Maxis find that you no longer fulfil or meet the applicable eligibility criteria, you shall cease to enjoy the Offer and Maxis shall be entitled to cancel or terminate the Offer accordingly.
    5. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility to redeem the Offer is subject to our absolute discretion.
    1. Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions of this Campaign and successful registration of the Maxis Participating Plan, you will enjoy the Offer. 
    2. Only one (1) Offer is valid per each new activation of the Maxis Participating Plan.
    3. The Offer will be applied to your bill (excluding applicable tax) for a period of twenty-four (24) months and you will be able to check and verify bill rebate in your monthly bill which can be viewed in the Maxis app. 
    4. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions  of the Maxis Participating Plan (as set out in clause 3 above) you have signed up for.

    1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with the Maxis Participating Plan both during and after the Campaign Period. Charges exclude applicable taxes.

    1. During the rebate period, you shall NOT:
      1. terminate or suspend the Maxis Participating Plan which you have registered; or
      2. downgrade the Maxis Participating Plan.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 20 above occur, you will no longer be entitled to the Offer.
    1. The Offer is not redeemable and not refundable/exchangeable for cash.
    2. Maxis reserves the right to forfeit the Offer if our attempt to fulfil the Offer fails for any reason whatsoever. 
    3. Maxis’ decision on the selection of participants who are eligible and entitled to the Offer shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal at any time during or after the Campaign Period. 
    4. Maxis shall not be liable to the participants or any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a participant or such other party as a result of participation or non-participation in the Campaign or as a result of any act or omission on Maxis’ part. 
    5. The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
    6. Maxis shall reserve the right to migrate your participating plan to equivalent or similar plans with the same commitment amount.
