Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Postpaid Tablet

General

  1. The Plan(s): Maxis Postpaid Tablet comprises Maxis Postpaid 18 Tablet and Maxis Postpaid 28 Tablet.
  2. You: Person(s) signing up for Maxis Postpaid Tablet (the “Services”).
  3. If you change your current rate plan to the Maxis Postpaid Tablet, you will not be able to carry forward any promotions/benefits that you are currently enjoying under your existing rate plan to your new Maxis Tablet Plan subscribed to.
  4. The use of the Plan(s) and Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
  5. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
  6. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
  7. Further, the Plan(s) is subject to SSTC – Maxis Zerolution Contract for Devices at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/postpaid/zerolution/. For clarity, any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC and SSTC – Maxis Zerolution Contract for Devices, this SSTC shall take precedence.
  8. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, Plan(s) and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Plan(s) and Service(s) at www.maxis.com.my/tnc), including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or Plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Services and/or Plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.

  9. Eligibility

  10. You are ineligible for this Plan(s) if you owe us any payments.
  11. This Plan(s) is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
  12. You must be an existing subscriber for MaxisONE Plan 98, 108, 128, 158, 188 to sign up for this Plan.
  13. You must also sign up Maxis Zerolution Contract for Devices https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/postpaid/zerolution/ for this Plan.

  14. Charges

  15. Charges and fees of the Plan(s) structure are in the appended Appendix and also published on our official website https://www.maxis.com.my as updated by us from time to time. Charges published are exclusive of all applicable taxes including GST.

  16. Billing

  17. Non-payment for any one of the Service package may result in suspension or barring of any or all the Services until the outstanding amount is paid.


    Things We May Do To The Service(s)

  18. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Service(s) if your usage:
    1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on our Network;
    2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
    3. is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at www.maxis.com.my/FUP); or
    4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
       
  19. Mobile Internet Package allocation

  20. For data allocated with the Plan(s), you acknowledge and accept:
    1. You will experience data browsing at reduced speeds and with no excess charges if any usage of data exceeds the allocated mobile internet;
    2. The mobile internet package allocated within the Plan(s) is exclusively for domestic usage only;
    3. You may purchase one-time passes (non-recurring) before you exceed your mobile internet package allocation. Such upgrade is available through your MyMaxis App and accessible through your Mobile Phone, other available Devices or channels as we may inform you from time to time. Please refer to appendix of MaxisONE plan (https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/appendix/maxisone-plan/) for  one-time passes charges under this Plan;
    4. You can opt for upgrades or downgrades of your MaxisONE Plan at any Maxis Service Centre or Maxis Exclusive Partners (MEP) or our Contact Centres (123);
    5. If you upgrade or downgrade to another MaxisONE Plan, your monthly commitment fee will be pro-rated against your billing cycle date. You will be charged the full commitment fee from the second month onwards but with full mobile internet package allocation from the first month.
     
  21. Roaming

  22. The rates and charges for this Plan does not cover the usage while on an overseas roaming network. Whilst roaming overseas, the prevailing data roaming charges at https://www.maxis.com.my/lifestyle/roaming-idd/international-roaming/ shall apply.

  23. Additional Features & Requirements

  24. You will only be able to enjoy the benefits of the Plan(s) and Services after the activation of your Zerolution Plan and MaxisONE Plan. For clarity:
    1. if for any reason, your subscription of MaxisONE plan 98,108,128,158,188 fails to be activated, you are deemed not to have been registered for the Plan(s); and
    2. if your subscribed MaxisONE plan 98,108,128,158,188 is successfully activated, you are deemed to have been registered for the respective plan.
  25. Upon registration for the Plan, your MaxisONE plan 98,108,128,158,188 mobile line must be kept active and cannot be suspended if you want to enjoy the benefits of the Services.
  26. Maxis will provide you with a SIM Card to be used for the devices. You are strictly not allowed to remove the SIM Card from the said devices without Maxis’ written permission.
  27. Subscription to the Plan does not affect your existing device contracts with us.

  28. Termination

  29. Subject to our GTC, a principal line holder may at any time terminate the Plan(s) as follows:
    1. By calling our customer care line at 1-800-82-1123 or dial 123 from your mobile;
    2. By walking into our Maxis Centres listed on www.maxis.com.my; or;
    3. By writing in to customercare@maxis.com.my
  30. Your Plan will be terminated if you make any changes to your plan other than an upgrade.
  31. We reserve our right to terminate this Plan(s) if you relocated and have been relocated to an area outside of our Service(s) coverage area.
  32. Upon termination of your Plan(s), all benefits under the Plan(s) will automatically cease to be applicable.
