Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Online Store Postpaid Plan and Mobile Device Campaign

Version [1st November 2022]

    1. The Campaign: Maxis Online Store Postpaid Plan and Mobile Device Campaign.
    2. You: Person(s) signing up Maxis’ products and services in accordance with clause 13.
    3. Campaign Period: Effective from 1 November 2022 until 30 November 2022 (both dates inclusive).
    4. The Campaign and use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-consumer/ , this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at www.maxis.com.my/FUP and www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/ .
    5. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    6. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    7. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Campaign and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s) www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
    1. You must be a new or existing customer of Maxis who sign up either a: -
      • new Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188 Plan; or
      • new Maxis Zerolution Plan on a 36-months tenure (open to all mobile devices except for Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro series),
      during the Campaign Period who is at least 18 years of age (“Eligible Person”).
    2. You are ineligible for the Campaign if you have any outstanding payments with us.
    3. The Campaign is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    4. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility to participate in the Campaign and the giving out of the Rewards (as defined in clause 16) are subject to our absolute discretion.
    1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with Maxis Postpaid Plan both during and after the Campaign Period. Charges excludes applicable taxes.
    1. To participate in the Campaign, an Eligible Person is required to successfully sign up Maxis’ products and services during the Campaign Period, as follows : -,
      • For new sign up of Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188 Plan ("Maxis Postpaid Plan"), via Maxis Online Store https://store.maxis.com.my/; or
      • For port in mobile device sign up on Maxis Zerolution Plan on a 36-months tenure on Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188 Plan (open to all mobile devices except for Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro series) (“Maxis Zerolution Plan”), via Maxis Website https://www.maxis.com.my/en/mobile-plans/switch-to-maxis/.
      (Maxis Postpaid Plan and Maxis Zerolution Plan shall collectively referred to as “Maxis Plans”)
    2. Eligibility of the Rewards shall be determined based on the date and time any Maxis Postpaid Plan or Maxis Zerolution Plan is successfully registered as captured by our records during the Campaign Period.
    3. By participating to this Campaign, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of each of the Maxis Postpaid Plan and Maxis Zerolution Plan, as the following: -
    1. Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions as set out in clause 13 of this Campaign, you will be entitled to enjoy the following Rewards: -

    RM150 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit
    (“Reward A”)
    • Reward A will be given to Eligible Persons who successfully signed up and activated Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188 Plan during the Campaign Period (“Winners A”).
    • Fulfillment of the Reward A is by 3rd week of the 2nd month from line activation. RM150.00 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit will be credited into Winners A’s Touch’ n Go eWallet account.
    First three (3) months fee waiver for Maxis Zerolution Plan 36-months
    (“Reward B”)
    • Reward B will be given to Eligible Persons who port in and successfully signed up and activated Maxis Zerolution Plan on a 36-months tenure on Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188 Plan (open to all mobile devices except for Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro series) during the Campaign Period (“Winners B”).
    • Fulfillment of the Reward B will be reflected in your postpaid bill from 2nd month onwards.

    (Reward A and Reward B shall be collectively referred to as “Rewards”).

    1. You shall NOT during the Campaign Period:
      • terminate or suspend the registered Maxis Plans;
      • fail to activate the registered Maxis Plans;
      • change or transfer ownership of the registered Maxis Plans to another person.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 17 above occur, you will no longer be entitled to the Rewards.
    1. The Rewards are not exchangeable for cash.
    2. Only one (1) Reward will be given to each Mobile Station Integrated Services Digital Network (MSISDN) per new registration for each Maxis Postpaid Plan or Maxis Zerolution Plan;
    3. You are responsible to utilise the Reward A before the expiry date. Any Reward unutilised/ redeemed are not returnable / refundable.
    4. You are responsible to ensure that you have a Touch ‘n Go eWallet account and application for the Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit to be credited to your Touch ‘n Go eWallet account.
    5. Maxis is not an agent, subsidiary or affiliate of Touch ‘n Go, and make no representation or warranties as to the quality, merchantability, fitness of the Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit and shall not be liable for any loss and damages suffered from the use of the Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit.
