Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Online Store Postpaid Plan Only Rebate Campaign

General

  1. The Campaign: Maxis Online Store Postpaid Plan Only Rebate Campaign
  2. Offer under the Campaign: Port in or sign up for a new Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188 on Maxis Online Store at store.maxis.com.my to enjoy monthly RM50 rebate for 4 months.
  3. You: Person(s) signing up for the Offer who is either new or an existing Maxis Postpaid customer. 
  4. Offer availability: from 20 April 2021 till 31 August 2021.
  5. By accepting this Offer, you will enjoy monthly RM50 rebate for 4 months (“Rebate Period”) when you sign up for Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188 on Maxis Online Store at store.maxis.com.my with us. The rebate will be reflected in your bill from 2nd month onwards. After the end of the Rebate Period, you will continue to pay the full price of the Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188 plan every month.
  6. The Offer and use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at www.maxis.com.my/FUP and www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
  7. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
  8. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
  9. Further, the Offer is subject to Service Specific Terms & Conditions ("SSTC") – Maxis Postpaid (“Maxis Postpaid SSTC”) at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/personal/postpaid/maxis-postpaid. For clarity, any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC and Maxis Postpaid SSTC, this SSTC shall take precedence.
  10. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Offer and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s) at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/), including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.

Eligibility

  1. You are ineligible for the Offer if you have any outstanding payments with us.
  2. The Offer is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
  3. Within the Rebate Period, you will not be eligible for the Maxis Postpaid Member Get Member Campaign.
  4. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility for the Offer is subject to our absolute discretion.

Charges

  1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with this Offer both during and after the Rebate Period. Charges are excluding of applicable taxes.

Rebate Period and Early Termination

  1. You shall NOT during the Rebate Period:
    1. terminate your Maxis Postpaid plan; 
    2. suspend your Maxis Postpaid plan; 
    3. have your Maxis Postpaid account terminated for non-payment of monthly bills;
    4. downgrade your Maxis Postpaid plan to below Maxis Postpaid 98 for any reason whatsoever;
    5. change or transfer ownership of your Maxis Postpaid to another person.
  2. If any of the events in Clause 16 above occurs, you will no longer be entitled to the rebate and the rebate will be forfeited/cancelled from your Maxis Postpaid plan with immediate effect.

Additional Features & Requirements

  1. The Offer is not exchangeable for cash.
  2. The Offer is not transferable.
  3. Only one (1) Offer per each MSISDN

Termination

  1. Subject to the Maxis Postpaid SSTC and our GTC, you may at any time terminate the Offer and/or plan(s) by:
    1. Calling our customer care line at 1-800-82-1123 or dial 123 from your mobile;
    2. By walking into our Maxis Centres listed on www.maxis.com.my; or
    3. Writing in to customercare@maxis.com.my
