Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) - Online Offer for Maxis Fibre

General

  1. The Offer: Sign up for a new Maxis Fibre 300Mbps, 500Mbps or 800Mbps plan (collectively as “Maxis Fibre Plans”) via our Maxis website or Whatsapp us through our Maxis website (collectively as “Our Online Platforms”) to enjoy one (1) month rebate on your Maxis Fibre monthly bills.
  2. You: Person(s) signing up for any of the Maxis Fibre Plans via Our Online Platforms.
  3. Offer Period: 16th July 2021 to 30th September 2021.
  4. Upon successful installation of the Maxis Fibre Plan (signed up under the Offer), you will enjoy a one (1) month rebate on your Maxis Fibre monthly bill (“Rebate”).
  5. This Offer is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal.
  6. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
  7. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
  8. Further, this SSTC is subject to SSTC - Maxis Fibre at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/broadband/maxis-fibre/;
  9. For clarity, any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC and the SSTC – Maxis Fibre, this SSTC shall take precedence.
  10. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, Offer and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on this Offer and the Service(s) at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or Offer (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Services and/or Offer) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Offer and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.

Eligibility

  1. You must register for a new plan under any of the Maxis Fibre Plans via Our Online Platforms.
  2. You are ineligible for this Offer if you have any outstanding payments with us.
  3. This Offer is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
  4. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria for this Offer from time to time.

Charges

  1. The applicable Charges and rate table guide for the rate plan under this Offer is as set out on our website at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/broadband/maxis-fibre/. Charges and rates displayed therein do not include any applicable taxes.
  2. The one (1) month Rebate will be applied over the first two (2) months from the commencement of the Rebate Period (as defined in Clause 18 below). You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with this Offer (if any) both during and after the Rebate Period.

Rebate Period and Termination

  1. After the successful installation of the Maxis Fibre Plan (signed up under the Offer), Maxis will assign the Rebate to your Maxis Fibre Plan monthly bills as follows:
    1. for your Maxis Fibre Plan first (1st) monthly bill, the Rebate will be pro-rated from the assignment date of your Rebate (whereby the assignment date will be decided by Maxis); and
    2. the remainder of the Rebate will apply to your Maxis Fibre Plan second (2nd) monthly bill accordingly.
  2. You shall NOT during the period of one (1) month from the assignment date of the Rebate (“Rebate Period”):
    1. terminate your Maxis Fibre Plan;
    2. suspend your Maxis Fibre Plan;
    3. have your Maxis Service(s) terminated for non-payment of monthly bills; or
    4. upgrade/downgrade your Maxis Fibre Plan. However, you are allowed to upgrade your Maxis Fibre Plan once the Rebate Period ends.
  3. If any of the events in Clause 18 above occurs, you will no longer be entitled to the rebate under this Offer and will be subject to termination charge as provided under the Maxis Fibre Broadband SSTC.

Additional Features & Requirements

  1. The Offer is not exchangeable for cash.
  2. The Offer is not transferable.
  3. This Offer is not applicable to Maxis employees (permanent or contract).
