• How much data is allocated for my Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & 5G Home WiFi plan?

  Maxis Unlimited Postpaid offers unlimited data on your mobile lines including principle and all your share lines; while Maxis 5G Home WiFi plan offers 5G data only SIM card for superfast WiFi.

  To ensure better experience for all users, excessive and abusive data usage is subjected to Fair Usage Policy.

• How much do I have to pay to sign up for the plan?

  The price of Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & 5G Home WiFi plan is a combination of what you are paying for existing Maxis Postpaid plans (79, 89, 109, 139, 169, 199) and Maxis 5G Home WiFi plans (69, 99, 139, 159).

  At sign-up, you will need to pay the following:

  Your first monthly commitment will be pro-rated, based on the remaining days in the billing cycle.

  Additional Information:

  • No advance payment or deposit is required for existing mobile customer (who is converting existing line to Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & 5G Home WiFi)
  • You must be 18 years or older and meet our credit requirements.
  • For non-Malaysians, a registration deposit of RM300 is required for Maxis Unlimited Postpaid Plans

• What are the processing and SIM fees?

  New Maxis Postpaid mobile sign up is subjected to a one-time processing fee of RM10 and a SIM card fee of RM10.

• Why are these fees being charged?

  The processing fee covers administration, processing, and maintenance of your postpaid line, while the SIM fee is for provisioning your new SIM card.

• When will these fees be charged?

  These fees will be included in your first bill after signing up for a new line or additional line. They are not paid upfront.

• Do these fees apply to all customers?

  Yes, these fees apply to new line purchases, Mobile Number Portability (MNP), and certain scenarios involving SIM issuance or replacement.

• Will I be charged these fees if I add another line?

  Yes, each new principal line will incur a processing fee. For supplementary lines, only the SIM fee applies.

• What if I terminate my line and get a new number?

  You will be charged a one-time RM10 SIM fee for any new or replacement SIM/eSIM.

• Am I eligible for the plan?

  Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & Maxis 5G Home WiFi plan is available for new registration for both Malaysian and foreigner over the age of 18 years.
  
  

• How can I sign up for the plan?

  You can register for our services at any Maxis Stores, including Maxis Online Store.
  
  

• If I have an existing device contract, can I sign up for the plan?

  Yes, and your existing device contracts will be carried over if you upgrade to a higher rateplan. However, downgrading to a lower rateplan will trigger the contract penalty.
