Hotlink Celebrates Chinese New Year With Customers At Nationwide Roadshows

Hotlink, the prepaid brand of Maxis, is making its way across the country to spread festive cheer to its customers as part of its nationwide Chinese New Year roadshows at selected shopping malls and universities in the Klang Valley, Penang and Johor Bahru. At these events, the public will have the opportunity to participate in exciting games and activities, such as trivia contests and app-based challenges for a chance to win exclusive prizes. This includes tickets to a the Hotlink-sponsored live concert featuring Taiwanese hip-hop band Da Mouth and Hong Kong-based DJ Tenashar, on 15 February at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon. Maxis and Hotlink customers can enjoy 15% discount off these concert tickets, which can be purchased at any Rock Corner, The Guitar Store or Victoria Music outlet. Before the discount, tickets are priced at RM128 for the Gold Zone and RM68 for the Silver Zone.

During the roadshows, Hotlink 4G roller bladers with the God of Prosperity will be distributing special ‘Ang Pows’ to the public, containing lucky draw tickets which customers will need to bring to the final roadshow at Sunway Pyramid from 7 to 9 February, to be in the running to win Samsung 4G devices. These include the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy S4.

Maxis got its Chinese New Year celebrations underway recently on 13 January with the launch of Hotlink 4G, which enables its prepaid customers to experience even faster internet speeds on Malaysia's first and widest 4G network. All customers need to do is to purchase a #Hotlink SIM pack for RM8.80, and do a 4G SIM swap at any Maxis Centre nationwide. They will then need to subscribe to a 1GB or 3GB monthly mobile internet pass, priced at RM30 and RM68 respectively, to start enjoying faster speeds on Maxis’ 4G network. To subscribe to the passes, customers need to dial *100# from their mobile phones. Customers will also get 50% more data if they purchase the monthly mobile internet passes anytime until 28 February.
