At the upcoming Thaipusam festival in Batu Caves this weekend, Hotlink, Malaysia's no. 1 prepaid service from Maxis Berhad ("Maxis"), will be ever present to demonstrate its support for the local Indian community, an important segment of its customer base. Having been associated with the festival since 2008, Hotlink is once again proud to play a role as exclusive sponsor at the festival which will take place from 26 until 28 January. This year, visitors to Thaipusam at Batu Caves will also be greeted with a specially designed peacock-inspired arch and colourful decorations in the vicinity.

Attendees at the event will also be entertained with a concert to be held on 26 and 27 January, featuring performances from local and international Indian artistes as well as classical dance performances. Local Tamil radio station THR Raaga will also be present with live cross overs.

In conjunction with its sponsorship of the festive celebration, Hotlink customers will be rewarded with special promotions and deals on a wide range of products and services, including the opportunity to win a 16GB iPhone 5 if they top-up up a minimum of RM10. This promotion is only valid during the event from 26 to 28 January. Customers will also get RM10 free airtime for 10 days (to Maxis and Hotlink numbers only) for every RM10 top up. In addition, Hotlink will be offering customers special promotions on the Hotlink SIM pack and Hotlink Broadband at its sales booths located near the Temple. Customers can also sign up for Maxis' Home and Postpaid services during the event, such as Home Fibre Internet and Home Wireless Internet products as well as Maxis TalkMore plans.
