Terms & Conditions

Service Specific Terms & Conditions: Maxis Postpaid Member-Get-Member (MGM) Campaign

    1. Campaign: Maxis Postpaid Member-Get-Member (MGM) Campaign. 
    2. Referrer(s): Existing Maxis’ principal account holders of any of the following Maxis’ Postpaid plans:
      1. Maxis Postpaid 98, 108, 128, 158, 188, 248 or 368: SSTC – Maxis Postpaid (Pre-15th August 2023), which terms and conditions are at;
      2. Maxis Postpaid 68: SSTC – Maxis Postpaid 68, which terms and conditions are at;
      3. Maxis Postpaid 79, 109, 139, 169 or 199: SSTC – Maxis Postpaid, which terms and conditions are at; or
      4. Maxis Postpaid 69 or 99: SSTC – Maxis Postpaid 69 &  99, which terms and conditions are at
    3. Referred Person(s): Any family members or friends of Referrer(s) who are being referred by Referrer to port-in to Maxis by signing up for any of the following eligible Maxis Postpaid plans (“Eligible Plan(s)”):
      1. Maxis Postpaid 79, 109, 139, 169 or 199, which terms and conditions are at; or
      2. Maxis Postpaid 69 or 99, which terms and conditions are at
    4. Participant(s): Referrer(s) and/or Referred Person(s) who participate(s) in this Campaign in accordance to this SSTC. 
    5. Reward(s): Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions of this Campaign and successful port-in and registration of any of the Eligible Plan(s), the Participants will enjoy the following rewards in accordance with the terms of this SSTC:
      1. Referrer Reward: Bill rebate of RM50.
      2. Referred Person(s) Reward: Bill rebate which amount is equivalent to one (1) month of the commitment fee of the selected Eligible Plan(s).
    6. The Campaign and use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Postpaid Member Get Member Campaign (“SSTC”), Summary Terms & Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) at and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available  at
    7. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC. 
    8. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC. 
    9. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Campaign and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Campaign, plan(s) and Service(s) at, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued participation in the Campaign, use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Campaign, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
    1. Participants need to fulfill the criteria set out in Clauses 2 and 3 of this SSTC. 
    2. Further to Clause 10 above, customers who port-in to Maxis within six (6) months after porting-out from Maxis are not eligible to be a Referred Person.
    1. The Rewards will only be applicable upon successful port-in by the Referred Person.
    2. There is no limit to the number of Referred Persons. However, the Referrer Reward is capped at RM500 per NRIC. However, where a Referrer refers more than ten (10) Referred Persons, the subsequent Referred Person(s) will still receive a Referred Person Reward.
    3. The Bill rebate for the Referred Person(s) will be staggered across two Bill cycles, (i.e. the 1st half of the rebate amount on next Bill cycle, and the remaining rebate amount in the subsequent Bill cycle). At the point of Bill rebate assignment, the Participants must be an active subscribers of Maxis and the Referred Person(s) must maintain an active account of the selected Eligible Plan(s).
    4. The Bill rebate is only applicable to taxable recurring charges such as monthly commitment fee, excluding Zerolution phone monthly payment, Zerolution upgrade fee and Maxis Safe Device fee.
    5. If a Referred Person terminates, ports-out from Maxis or downgrades his rate plan from the selected Eligible Plan:
      1. in less than forty (40) days from the date of successful port-in by the Referred Person, his Referred Person Reward will be forfeited; or 
      2. after forty (40) days from the date of successful port-in by the Referred Person, his Referred Person Reward will be pro-rated based on the active days the Referred Person is on the selected Eligible Plan.
    6. In the event the Referred Person’s line is suspended, his Referred Person Reward will be pro-rated based on the number of days which the Referred Person’s line remains active.
    7. In cases where the Bill rebate exceeds the monthly Bill amount:
      1. Referrer Reward: The Bill rebate balance will be carried forward to the Referrer’s Bill for the following months. 
      2. Referred Person Reward: The Bill rebate balance will be forfeited and not carried forward to Referred Person’s Bill for the following month.
    1. Maxis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participants who is found or suspected of tampering with the Campaign and/or its process or the operation of this Campaign. Maxis reserves the right to disqualify any Participants  and/or to forfeit Reward(s) of any Participants whom Maxis believes has undertaken fraudulent practice and/or activities or other activities harmful to this Campaign. Fraudulent activities are deemed to include, but are not limited to, any act of deceit and/or deception and/or cheating. 
    2. Maxis reserves the absolute right at any time without assigning any reasons thereto to cancel, terminate, postpone or suspend indefinitely the Campaign.
    3. Maxis reserves the right to alter, amend and/or discontinue the Campaign, and the terms & conditions of the Campaign without any prior notice. 
    4. In no event shall Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to the participant or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection to the Campaign and the Reward including (without limitation) any cancellation or postponement of the Campaign. 
    5. Maxis shall not be liable to the participants or for any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a participant or such other party as a result of participation or non-participation in the Campaign or as a result of any act or omission on the part of Maxis. 
    6. Maxis is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of our telecommunications network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet.
    1. The personal information/personal data supplied by participants when entering this Campaign will be used by Maxis in accordance with Maxis Group Privacy Notice at Entry in this Campaign is an agreement to be bound by Maxis Group Privacy Notice, which shall form an integral part of the terms and conditions of this Campaign. The personal information/personal data collected may be used in future by Maxis to provide Participants with further information about similar Campaigns and information in relation thereto, which subscribers may opt out of by informing Maxis of the Participant’s decision to do so. Participants’ personal information/personal data is subject to the safeguards concerning privacy and security of data as set out in Maxis Group Privacy Notice and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Participants shall ensure that all personal information/personal data provided to Maxis is accurate and correct at the point of submission and that Maxis is kept informed and updated of any change in their personal information/personal data.
