Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Fibre and Astro TV Packages Service Bundle Campaign

    1. This Campaign: Sign up to any of the following selected Astro TV packages (“Selected Astro Packages”)* through Maxis to enjoy the following:
      1. if you sign up to or currently on the Maxis Fibre 100Mbps plan, you will get a Maxis Fibre plan upgrade to 300Mbps plan for RM129 (exclusive of any applicable tax) a month;
      2. if you sign up to or currently on Maxis Fibre 500Mbps at RM219 or 800Mbps at RM299 a month, you will get a RM20 monthly rebate for 24 months on your Maxis Fibre bill; and/or
      3. if the monthly subscription fee for your Selected Astro TV Package is more than RM100 (exclusive of any applicable tax), you will get an upgrade from the Astro HD Box to Astro Ultra Box for free.

      *The Selected Astro TV Packages applicable under this Campaign are:
      1. Starter Pack – Bahasa Malaysia
      2. Starter Pack – Mandarin
      3. Starter Pack – Tamil
      4. Value Pack – Bahasa Malaysia
      5. Value Pack – Mandarin
      6. Value Pack – Tamil
      7. Value Pack – English
      8. Super Pack Lite Sports – Bahasa Malaysia
      9. Super Pack Lite Sports – Mandarin
      10. Super Pack Lite Sports – Tamil
      11. Super Pack Lite Sports - English
         
    2. You: Person(s) signing up for the Product & Service.
    3. Campaign period: From 21 September 2020 until further notice by Maxis.
    4. This Campaign and your use of the Maxis Services is subject to the Customer General Terms & Conditions for Astro Services and Maxis Services (“CGTC”) and this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), and any other applicable terms and conditions; all available at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
    5. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    6. In respect of the Maxis Services, any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the CGTC, the Maxis Customer Terms, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) this SSTC; (b) Maxis Customer Terms; and (c) the CGTC.
    7. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the CGTC, this Campaign and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Maxis Services at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Maxis Services, and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Maxis Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan(s) and/or the use of the Maxis Services by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.
    1. The Maxis Fibre account must be registered under your name.
    2. You must NOT be an existing customer for any Astro products and/or services.
    3. You must sign up for the Selected Astro TV Package through Maxis.
    4. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria for this Campaign from time to time.
    1. The applicable Charges and rate table guide for the Product & Service is as set out on our official website at https://www.maxis.com.my/broadband/maxis-fibre/. Charges displayed do not include applicable taxes.
    2. If you sign up to or currently on the Maxis Fibre 100Mbps plan, you will get a Maxis Fibre plan upgrade to 300Mbps plan for RM129 (exclusive of any applicable tax) a month under this Campaign.
    3. If you sign up to or currently on Maxis Fibre 500Mbps or 800Mbps plan, you will get a RM20 monthly rebate for 24 months on your Maxis Fibre bill.
    4. Charges in respect of the Selected Astro TV Packages will be available in accordance with the Astro Customer Terms and CGTC accordingly.
    1. This Campaign is subject to a minimum commitment period of twenty four (24) months (“Minimum Commitment Period”). The Minimum Commitment Period shall commence from the date of successful onsite installation and activation of both Maxis Fibre and your Selected Astro TV Package at your premises.
    2. If you, at anytime for any reason whatsoever, terminate or have your Maxis Fibre account terminated, your Selected Astro TV Package (subscribed under this Campaign) will be automatically terminated as well.
    3. You shall NOT during the Minimum Commitment Period:
      1. terminate your Maxis Fibre account or Selected Astro TV Package subscription;
      2. suspend your Maxis Fibre account or Selected Astro TV Package subscription;
      3. transfer ownership of your Maxis Fibre account or Selected Astro TV Package subscription; or
      4. have your Maxis Fibre account or Selected Astro TV Package subscription terminated for non-payment of monthly bills.
    4. If any of the events in Clause 17 or 18 occurs during the Minimum Commitment Period for any reason whatsoever, you will no longer be entitled to the benefit(s) under this Campaign, including the following (if applicable) and early termination charges will apply:
      1. if your Maxis Fibre plan was upgraded to 300Mpbs pursuant to this Campaign, your Maxis Fibre plan will be downgraded to 100Mbps; or
      2. if you are subscribed to Maxis Fibre 500Mbps or 800Mbps plan, your RM20 monthly rebate will no longer be applicable.
    5. If any of the events in Clause 17 or 18 occurs during the Minimum Commitment Period for any reason whatsoever, you will no longer be entitled to the benefit(s) under this Campaign, including the following (if applicable) and early termination charges will apply:
      1. Maxis and/or Astro reserves the right to require you to pay a one-time fee if you are discovered to be abusing the upgrade/downgrade process;
      2. you may be subjected to a new commitment period for your Maxis Fibre and/or Astro TV package, depending on the plan which you wish to switch to; and
      3. the feature(s), benefit(s) and add-on(s) provided in your existing plan(s) (subscribed under this Campaign) may not be brought over to your new package/plan.
    1. The Campaign is not exchangeable for cash.
    2. The Campaign is not transferable.
    3. This Campaign is not applicable to Maxis employees (permanent or contract).
    4. This Campaign is not applicable with any other Maxis Fibre campaign or promotion.
    5. This Campaign is only applicable to one customer per Maxis Fibre line.
