Maxis introduces Yearly Upgrade programme for iPhone users

Maxis today introduced its Yearly Upgrade programme, offering customers the flexibility to upgrade to the latest iPhone every year without waiting for their device instalment plan to end.

The programme is designed to offer greater value and convenience by simplifying the device upgrade cycle for Maxis’ customers.

With Maxis Yearly Upgrade, the option to upgrade becomes available twelve (12) months before the end date of their device instalment plan. To upgrade, eligible customers can simply swap their current phone in good working condition for the latest model of choice, with no additional cost.

This benefit is available to Maxis iPhone customers on Maxis Postpaid 139 and above with a device instalment plan (Maxis Zerolution).

New customers purchasing any iPhone 17 series device (excluding iPhone Air) on these plans are eligible to upgrade to the next-generation iPhone next year. Existing customers with an iPhone 15 or 16 on any device ownership plan may also enjoy this benefit by upgrading to or remaining on a Maxis Postpaid 139 plan or above.
