Maxis celebrates the joy of Christmas with the community of Kampung Sayap, Kota Belud
Maxis partnered with Hopes Malaysia this Christmas season to uplift the lives of the community of Kampung Sayap, Kota Belud, by spreading festive cheer and supporting community-based livelihood initiatives.
The celebration held at the Kampung Sayap open hall brought together over 250 villagers for a morning of fun games, karaoke, lively Christmas carols, and a celebratory lunch.
As part of the festive celebration, Maxis supported Kampung Sayap's agricultural efforts by providing the community with sustainable farming materials and tools, that will benefit up to 80 families. This contribution will help strengthen food security and leave a lasting impact on the community.
Maxis also conducted an eKelas Usahawan workshop for 45 women and youth entrepreneurs from the community, equipping them with skills and guidance to market their products more effectively within the digital marketplace. Additionally, Hotlink SIM packs were distributed to help villagers stay connected.
