DataPool
About DataPool
-
DataPool combines the data from an eligible Maxis Postpaid principal line and its existing Maxis Postpaid Share 39 or 48 lines into a shared pool.
It allows you to:
- Share data with your Share lines;
- Use your data across multiple devices; and
- Access eligible data while roaming overseas, subject to the applicable roaming terms.
Each existing Maxis Postpaid Share line contributes the following data to the DataPool:
Share line Data contributed to DataPool Maxis Postpaid Share 39 30GB of 4G/5G data Maxis Postpaid Share 48 50GB of 4G/5G data -
No. Maxis Postpaid Member 50 and 60 have their own individual data allocations and do not draw data from or contribute data to the principal line’s DataPool.
Existing Maxis Postpaid Share 39 and 48 lines will continue using DataPool under their current terms.
Eligibility & Setup
-

Managing Your DataPool
-
You can control data allocation through:
- Maxis app: Tap on "Manage DataPool" and select the share line to manage
- Maxis Self Serve Portal: Click on "Manage Mobile Internet", select "Data Pool" and go to "Manage Share Limit"
By default, each Maxis Postpaid Share 39 or 48 line is allocated 50GB.
-
The principal line user can set an individual data limit for each Share line, subject to the available balance in the DataPool and the maximum permitted share limit of 100GB.
-
Each Share line will retain its default data limit:
- 30GB for Maxis Postpaid Share 39; or
- 50GB for Maxis Postpaid Share 48.
Usage is deducted from the shared DataPool as it occurs. If the DataPool is used up before a Share line reaches its individual limit, that Share line will no longer have high-speed data available from the DataPool. -
No, only the Principal line owner can set or change usage limits. Share line users can only view their usage.
Account Status & Limitations
