Maxis Fibre subscribers who were not existing Astro TV subscribers were eligible to sign up for one (1) Astro TV service per fibre service.

Each Maxis Fibre service was eligible to sign up for only one Astro TV service.

No advance payment was required for Astro TV. Installation fees applied for HD/Ultra Box setups.

The Astro TV service had a 24-month contract, starting from the date of activation.
An early termination fee for Astro TV applied if you:
- Terminated your Maxis Fibre plan early.
- Transferred ownership.
- Relocated.
- Downgraded your Fibre plan.
- Ceased being a Maxis Unlimited Postpaid + Fibre subscriber.

Early termination for Astro TV RM1000/24 months X the remaining month of your contract.

If your benefit is a RM20 rebate for 24 months, rebate ends after 24-month period. If you are enjoying a free 3x speed upgrade, this benefit remains as long as you keep the Astro TV pack with Fibre service.

You may upgrade your Maxis Fibre plan and continue to enjoy your benefit of a 3x speed upgrade or a RM20 rebate, depending on the plan you switch to. However, your benefit will end if you downgrade your Maxis Fibre during your Astro TV contract period.

You may upgrade your Astro TV pack, however downgrade is not allowed as part of your Astro TV contract period. To change your Astro TV Pack, call the Astro at +603 9543 3838 or download the Astro App.

Yes, both Astro DTH and Maxis Fibre had to remain at the same address.

The Astro TV box/ DTH equipment comes with 24 month warranty and you may call Astro at +603 9543 3838 for support in case your equipment is faulty.

Yes, you can continue with your Maxis Home Fibre plan and terminate your Astro TV pack. However, please be aware that if you are still within the 24-month contract period for the Astro TV service, an early termination fee may apply.

Yes, you can sign up for a Maxis Home Fibre plan without the Astro TV service. If you have already terminated the Astro TV service, you can continue with or switch to a Maxis Home Fibre plan independently.
