Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Exclusive Device Offer with Standard Chartered Credit/Debit Cards

- The Offer: Sign up for a new Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188 or add share line Maxis Postpaid 48 and get a mobile device at a special offer under Maxis Zerolution Plan when you make payment with a Standard Chartered conventional or Islamic credit card or debit card. You will further enjoy three (3) months’ complimentary monthly fees under Maxis Zerolution Plan.

- This Offer is available from [21 Dec 2021 to 28 Feb 2022], both dates inclusive (“Offer Period”).
- This Offer is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-consumer/, Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”) at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/personal/general/summary-t-n-c/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/ and https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
- Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
- Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and the STC shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC. Further, this Offer is subject to SSTC – Maxis Zerolution Contract for Devices at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/personal/postpaid/zerolution/ and the terms and conditions stated in the SSTC – Maxis Zerolution Contract for Devices shall be applicable to this Offer. For clarity, any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC and the SSTC – Maxis Zerolution Contract for Devices, this SSTC shall take precedence.
- We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, the Offer and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Offer at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/personal/promotions/campaign/standard-chartered/ including changes to this SSTC. Your continued use of our Service(s), and/or rate plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of this SSTC, Services, and/or rate plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the rate plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice within twenty eight (28) days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.
- The Offer is valid for all purchases/ transactions made with a conventional or Islamic credit card or debit card issued by Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad and Standard Chartered card members who have received an electronic direct mailer from Standard Chartered about the Offer (“Invite”) during the Offer Period.
- A new principal line must be registered under your name and be an active account under an individual postpaid rate plan offered by us under Maxis Postpaid 98/128/158/188. If you have an existing principal line/account, you may sign up this Offer if you subscribe to a new Maxis Postpaid 48 under your existing principal line/account. You are not entitled to upgrade or switch from your existing plan to enjoy this Offer.
- By accepting this Offer and subject to our credit check policy, you will enjoy up to one (1) mobile device (“Mobile Device”) under Maxis Zerolution Plan at a special offer stipulated for the particular Mobile Device provided that you make a twenty four (24) months’ auto-debit payment setup with a Standard Chartered conventional or Islamic credit card or debit card.
- You are ineligible for this Offer if you have any outstanding payments with us.
- This Offer is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
- Maxis reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to confirm if you’re suitable and/or eligible for the Offer.
- Mobile Device advance payment is waived specifically for this Offer.
Commitment Period and Early Termination
- The commitment period of this Offer is subject to a minimum period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Commitment Period”).
- You shall NOT during the Commitment Period:
- terminate your Maxis mobile account or port out to another mobile service provider;
- suspend your Maxis mobile account;
- have your Maxis mobile account terminated for non-payment of monthly bills;
- change the rate plan you had registered for pursuant to the Offer. However, any upgrade of a rate plan by you is allowed with an upgrade fee where applicable.
- If any of the events in Clause 18 above occurs, we shall have the right to immediately terminate your Mobile Device as provided under the Maxis Zerolution Plan at, in which you shall be liable to any applicable early termination charge as stated therein.
Additional Features & Requirements
- The Offer cannot be exchanged for cash and the Mobile Device is not returnable upon completion of purchase.
- The Offer is not transferable.
- This Offer is not applicable to Maxis employees (permanent or contract).
- This Offer is not applicable with any other Maxis campaign or promotion.
- This Offer is only applicable to one (1) customer for each registered principal Maxis Postpaid line.
- This Offer is only available via the Invite sent by Standard Chartered.
- Other terms and conditions of Maxis Zerolution Contract for Devices athttps://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/personal/postpaid/zerolution/ will apply to the Mobile Device.
