• What is Maxis Postpaid Plan?

  Maxis Postpaid plan offers unlimited voice calls, SMS and bundle with 4G and 5G Mobile Internet for Maxis Postpaid customers.
  

  It is only suitable for individual usage, but you have the option to share your data pool with others through a share line:

• How much do I need to pay at sign up?

  At sign-up, you will need to pay the following:
  

  	Upon Purchase	1st Bill
  Rate Plan Advance Payment	1x Rate Plan Monthly Commitment Fee	-
  Processing Fee (One-time)	-	RM10
  SIM Fee (One-time)	-	RM10

  Your first monthly commitment will be pro-rated, based on the remaining days in the billing cycle.

  Additional Information:

  • You must be 18 years or older and meet our credit requirements.
  • For non-Malaysians, a registration deposit of RM300 is required for Maxis Postpaid 79, 109, 139, 169 and 199.

• What are the processing and SIM fees?

  New Maxis Postpaid mobile sign up is subjected to a one-time processing fee of RM10 and a SIM card fee of RM10.

• Why are these fees being charged?

  The processing fee covers administration, processing, and maintenance of your postpaid line, while the SIM fee is for provisioning your new SIM card.

• When will these fees be charged?

  These fees will be included in your first bill after signing up for a new line or additional line. They are not paid upfront.

• Do these fees apply to all customers?

  Yes, these fees apply to new line purchases, Mobile Number Portability (MNP), and certain scenarios involving SIM issuance or replacement.

• Will I be charged these fees if I add another line?

  Yes, each new principal line will incur a processing fee. For supplementary lines, only the SIM fee applies.

• What if I terminate my line and get a new number?

  You will be charged a one-time RM10 SIM fee for any new or replacement SIM/eSIM.

• If I am on a Maxis Postpaid plan with a device contract, can I change my rate plan?

  Yes, you may change your rate plan. However, depending on which rate plan you choose, an early termination charge may apply. You may refer to Zerolution or Normal Device Contract terms and conditions here.

• Is the limitless call & SMS of Maxis Postpaid plans inclusive of call to toll free service numbers?

  Yes, it’s free to call 1800 toll free numbers from mobile phones, which has been in effect since January 2011.

  However, local call charges of RM0.15/min is applicable for calls to 1300 toll free numbers.

• Will the quota be given full or pro-rated when I upgrade my plan?

  You will receive full quota upon plan upgrade.

• Will there be any prorated charges when I upgrade my plan?

  Yes, the upgrade will be charged at the prorate.
