Maxis Postpaid Free sooka Premium Access

Eligibility & Offer Details

  • New and existing subscribers of Maxis Postpaid 139, 169, 199 or Maxis Unlimited Postpaid 139, 169, 199 plans.

    1. Customer will enjoy complimentary sooka Premium access for 6 months. Redeem anytime before 30th June 2026.
    2. Depending on your redemption date, from the 7th month renewal (October 2026) onward, normal subscription charges will apply.

  • You’ll receive SMS reminder in month 6th and on month 7th auto-renewal at standard price unless cancelled 1 day before expiry.

  • Yes, but you must unsubscribe from the Astro sooka Package first and create a new sooka account via Maxis LifeStyle.

Redemption Process

  • New subscribers of Maxis Postpaid Plan 139 & above.

    • Create a new sooka account via the Maxis App > Lifestyle Page > "Live Sports" icon.
    • Follow prompts to complete the order.

     

    Existing subscribers of Maxis LifeStyle sooka Premium with the eligible plans

    • No action required. You will be automatically migrated to free access on your next billing cycle (e.g., 1 Sept 2025 for a 1 August billing cycle).
  • No if you’re an existing Maxis Postpaid 139 and above customer – your subscription will auto-convert to free.

Account & Subscription Management

  • New Maxis LifeStyle sooka Premium: Immediate revocation of free access. (if sooka account has not been created)

    Existing Maxis LifeStyle sooka Premium subscribers : Access ends at your next billing period.

    Example: Downgrade on 20 Aug  → access revoked on 1 Sept.

    • Live sports (global and local).
    • Asian entertainment (TV shows, movies, dramas).
    • Children’s programming.
    • Malaysian original stories.
  • Up to 3 devices in Full HD (1080p).

Troubleshooting & Support

    • For existing Maxis LifeStyle sooka Premium subscriber, your free access starts on your next billing cycle.
    • For new subscribers of Maxis Postpaid 139 and above customer, ensure you created a new sooka account via the Maxis App.

     

  • Manage subscriptions via Maxis App > Lifestyle Page or lifestyle.maxis.com.my.

Critical Scenarios

  • Yes, if you sign up for Maxis Postpaid 139 plan & above. Follow the new customer redemption process.

  • Your Free Maxis LifeStyle sooka Premium access ends immediately.

  • Yes – use the 3-device streaming limit to share with family.

Billing & Notifications

    • New subscribers of Maxis Postpaid 139 plan & above : Instantly after redemption.
    • Existing Maxis LifeStyle sooka Premium subscriber: Next billing cycle after 13 August 2025.
    • Activation: "RM0. You have been charged RM0.00 for sooka Premium. Thank you for paying with Hotlink Credit/ Maxis Bill.
    • Renewal Reminder: “Hey! Yr subscription to sooka Sports & Entertainment will be renewed in 1 day(s) @ RM 0.00 / 30 Days. Manage yr subscription at @lifestyle.maxis.com.my (for iPhone use My maxis browser)."
    • Expiry: “Yr subscription to sooka Premium has expired. To resubscribe go to https://lifestyle.maxis.com.my/
