Explore with Maxis: Eligibility

  • This Experience is open to Maxis subscribers, who may register one (1) guest to join the session.

  • Each registration is limited to two (2) participants in total: the principal and one (1) guest, who must be above the age of seven (7).

  • The Maxis App is required for the Main Registrant to check in, receive updates, and complete the experience. Guests are not required to have the app.

Registration & Check-In

Explore with Maxis: Registration & Check-In

  • Head to https://www.maxis.com.my/en/explore-with-maxis/ to register your interest. Seats are limited, so we would suggest you do this quickly to avoid missing out!

    If you miss our bus this time, no worries! Start your own adventure by exploring with maxis and completing the Passport on your own!

  • If you have received an email informing you that your seat has been confirmed, on the selected day and time of your bus tour, head on over to the Menara Maxis lobby and look for the 'Explore with Maxis' counter. 

    Remember to come early and prepared for a day of adventure!

  • Registration will open 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.

  • Here's what we'll ask you to do at registration:

    1. Present your confirmation email.
    2. Verify the details of all individuals in your group.

    What we will provide to you upon registration:

    1. Collect wristbands and your goodie bag.
    2. Receive a short safety and tour briefing.
  • Yes. All registered participants must arrive together to check in as one group.

  • The bus will depart as scheduled. Latecomers may not be allowed to join the tour once departure begins.

    We would recommend that you plan your journey to Menara Maxis to arrive early to avoid disappointment, as the bus will need to depart on time. Unfortunately, we won't be able to make exceptions for late comers.

Tour Experience

Explore with Maxis: Tour Experience

  • The bus tour will last for approximately 5 hours.

  • To be fully prepared for your adventure, we would advise you bring the following:

    • your smartphone (fully charged!) with the latest Maxis App downloaded
    • comfortable shoes
    • weather essentials (e.g. sun hat/cap, sunglasses, sun screen, raincoat, umbrella)

    Upon registration, you will also receive a fan, a bottle of water, and a small packet of snacks.

  • If you are joining us for the bus tour, then yes - we would not leave you hungry! A simple, complementary meal will be provided per passenger. Simply indicate your dietary preferences when you sign-up.

  • You may navigate to each location by tapping the respective stamp on your Passport to open Google Maps/Waze. Once you arrive, look for a QR code at 'Explore with Maxis' markers. 
    (QR codes will only be available duringthe campaign period of 20th December 2025 to 4th January 2026).

    Alternatively, if you're exploring with us via the bus tour, feel free to ask our friendly bus crew.

  • We have prepared the audio stories in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 

    If you're listening through Miya, only English is available. 

    If you're listening with us on the bus tour, ask our friendly bus crew how to toggle between languages. 

  • You may unlock new Maxis Deals by checking in at each location on the Passport. Each successful check-in will unlock more deals!

    To view all available Maxis Deals related to the journey, go to Maxis Deals, and look for the 'Explore with Maxis' Deals list. 

  • Toilet breaks are available at three points along the route: KLCC (starting point), Warong Old China, and Else Hotel.

  • You may join the tour midway, but it is not encouraged as you may miss key parts of the experience.

  • Definitely! All locations will be based around KL City Centre. Getting from one place to another should not take too long. 

  • We hope you come prepared to finish the full journey with us. A special reward awaits you at the end of the adventure!

    However, if you need to leave early for any reason, simply inform a friendly bus crew member so they can guide you accordingly.

App FAQ (Miya)

Explore with Maxis: App FAQ (Miya)

  • No, you don't. Feel free to explore each location in any order you like. 

  • Easy! Simply go to Miya and ask her, ‘Show me the video from <location> again,’. She will take you to the video to hear the desired audio story once more.

  • Once you have successfully checked in at all five locations, you should see a pop-up that will provide brief instructions on the redemption process. To go back there, you may go to 'View my Passport'.

  • Each completed Passport will entitle its user to redeem 1x Maxis Dinocorn Blind Box Keychain. Please note that due to limited stock availability, we are only able to provide 1x unit per completed Passport

  • You may redeem your reward at any Maxis centre within the Klang Valley, except at KLIA, Saujana, Ampang Point, Mid Valley Megamall (Kiosk), IOI City Mall. Go to www.maxis.com.my/en/maxis-store to find the Maxis Centre closest to you. 

    Don't wait for too long! Redemption is subject to stock availability.

  • You may redeem your reward during a limited time only - from 20th December 2025 to 11th January 2026.
