Maxis Postpaid Share 39 is a supplementary mobile plan linked to an eligible Maxis Postpaid principal line for customers residing in selected regions.*
The supplementary line draws data from the principal line’s DataPool. Each Maxis Postpaid Share 39 line contributes an additional 30GB of 4G/5G data to the DataPool.
The plan also comes with unlimited domestic calls and SMS, subject to the applicable terms and conditions. You may use the supplementary line in a compatible device or assign it to a family member.
*Selected regions refer to East Malaysia, the East Coast or other regions determined by Maxis. The applicable residency and usage requirements continue to apply to existing subscribers.

No. Maxis Postpaid Share 39 has not been available for new subscriptions since 8 October 2026. Existing subscribers may continue using the plan under its existing terms.
If you wish to add a new supplementary line, you may subscribe to Maxis Postpaid Member 50 or 60, subject to eligibility and the maximum number of Member lines supported by your principal plan.

No. You may continue using your existing Maxis Postpaid Share 39 line under its current terms.
If you change to Maxis Postpaid Member 50 or 60, you will not be able to switch back to Maxis Postpaid Share 39.

The principal line user can change the data limit allocated to each supplementary line through the Maxis App.

Yes, you may change your principal plan, subject to the applicable eligibility, contract terms and the maximum number of supplementary lines supported by the new plan.
If the new principal plan supports fewer supplementary lines, the affected supplementary lines must either be:
- Terminated; or
- Changed to eligible principal plans.
Your existing supplementary line may only be retained if the new principal plan supports it. The regional eligibility requirements for Maxis Postpaid Share 39 will continue to apply.

Maxis Postpaid Share 39 is no longer available for new subscriptions. If you need another supplementary line, you may consider:
- Upgrading to an eligible principal plan that supports more supplementary lines and adding a Maxis Postpaid Member 50 or 60 line;
- Signing up for another eligible Maxis Postpaid principal line; or
- Changing to a Maxis Family Plan.
Maxis Family Plan supports up to 10 mobile lines with unlimited data, together with Maxis Fibre or Maxis Home WiFi under one plan.
