The requirement to sign up as a Maxis customer is 18 years and above and meet our credit requirements including not blacklisted by any local telco service providers.
Advance payment will be applicable and the amount is depending on your selected rate plan. For foreigner deposit is applicable.
You may sign up for a new line at any Maxis Stores or buy online via Maxis Online Store, just go to Mobile Plans, choose your preferred plan and click Buy Now.
We will sign you up with a new account and prior to that we will ensure your previous account(s) is closed with no outstanding items; your credit standing will be granted based on our assessment.

Document requirement to sign up for Maxis postpaid:-
- Malaysian - MyKad (or MyTentera) by JPN.
- Permanent Resident - MyPR issued by JPN.
- Foreigner - Passport.
You may add a new line at:
- Online at Maxis Online Store.
- Maxis Store.
- Call us.
Advance payment or deposit may apply for your newly added line depending on your credit and account status with us.
