You can sign up for a new Maxis Mobile line through these simple steps:
Where to sign up:
- Visit any Maxis Store nationwide
- Shop online at Maxis Online Store
- Navigate to Mobile Plans
- Select your preferred plan
- Click "Buy Now" and follow the instructions
Eligibility requirements:
- 18 years of age or older,
- Meet our credit requirements, and
- Not blacklisted by any local telco service provider.
Note: An advance payment will be required based on your selected plan. For foreigners, an additional security deposit applies.

Please bring the following identification documents:
- Malaysian citizens: MyKad or MyTentera issued by JPN
- Permanent Residents: valid MyPR issued by JPN
- Foreigners: Valid passport

- We'll set you up with a new account after verifying:
- Your previous account(s) are properly closed,
- There are no outstanding payments, and
- Your current credit standing meets our requirements.
Our team will guide you through the entire process to ensure a smooth transition back to Maxis.

Adding a new line to your existing account is easy. You can:
- Add online through the Maxis Online Store
- Visit any Maxis Store
- Call our Customer Service at 123 from your Maxis line or 1800-82-1123 from other numbers
Important: Depending on your credit history and account status, an advance payment or deposit may be required for additional lines.
