SHARE N SURF SERVICE CESSATION
General

Share N Surf, formerly known as Multi-SIM One Line, allowed you to share your mobile number and monthly data quota from your primary SIM with multiple secondary SIMs on various devices like smartphones and tablets. This service appears as "New Standard Plan" on your Maxis bill. Please note that this product had not been available for new registrations since July 21, 2021.

The Share N Surf service ended on February 19, 2025. This product uses outdated technology that is no longer supported and could not accommodate recent network advancements, including Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi), and 5G. Continuing to use this service may have resulted in limited network connectivity and complications when trying to subscribe to new services.

From February 20, 2025, your plan was enhanced to provide you with 30GB of monthly data and FREE 300 minutes of local calls. There was no change to your current monthly subscription fee. However, the call and data-sharing service between primary and secondary lines will no longer be available, meaning each line will function independently.

If you need more data and call minutes, you may consider changing to Maxis Postpaid Share, which allows you to enjoy data sharing with your principal line. Please note that your principal line must be on a Maxis Postpaid plan to have a share line on Maxis Postpaid Share. You can also explore other Maxis Postpaid plans that might better suit your needs.

After your plan is enhanced:
- Data usage above 30GB is throttled to 64kbps. You can purchase a 10GB/30-day data pass for RM15 if needed.
- Calls beyond the 300 minutes will be charged at RM0.15 per 30-second block.
- SMS is charged at RM0.05/SMS (to Maxis numbers) or RM0.15/SMS (to other networks).
IDENTIFYING YOUR SHARE N SURF SERVICE

Check your Maxis bill - the Share N Surf plan appears as "New Standard Plan" in your bill.

To check your mobile number for secondary line(s) on the New Standard plan:
- Check your bill, or
- Go to the Maxis app, click ALL SERVICES, then tap on "Link them now"

Yes, you can visit your nearest Maxis Centre to change your preferred mobile number, subject to applicable charges.
NOTIFICATIONS AND NEXT STEPS

SMS and email notifications was sent on January 23, 2025, to all affected customers. You were informed about the plan upgrade and asked to visit your nearest Maxis Centre to change your primary and secondary SIMs at your earliest convenience.

You may have terminated the service before but are still using an outdated SIM card. Please visit your nearest Maxis Centre to change your SIM at your earliest convenience.

You likely registered for this service previously but are not actively using it. Please visit your nearest Maxis Centre to change your primary SIM and let us know if you would like to keep or terminate your secondary SIM.

Yes, you can make International Direct Dial calls, and your line can roam internationally. Please ensure you enable International Roaming for this line if needed.

Yes. You may subscribe to Maxis Postpaid Share 48 or explore other available Maxis Postpaid plans at your nearest Maxis store before or after your Share N Surf plan is upgraded.
