  • No. Your monthly fee remains unchanged after the plan update. Where applicable, monthly rebate(s) will be applied automatically to maintain your current monthly commitment.

  • No. Your plan will be automatically updated starting 09 Nov 2026. No action is required from you.

  • No. Your mobile number and existing service(s) will remain unchanged. You can continue using your service as usual after the plan update.

  • Yes. As part of this plan update, your service(s) will be moved to a new account.  Your new account number will be shared with you via SMS once the migration has been completed successfully.

  • There may be changes during your billing cycle. We will apply prorated billing, so you'll only be charged for the actual days of service under both your existing account and your new account.

As a result, you may see:

    • A final charge on your previous account; and
    • A prorated first bill on your new account.

Your new account will generally follow the same billing cycle as your previous account.

If you're subscribed to eBill, we'll enrol your new account using the same email address currently registered with us. You'll receive an email to verify your eBill enrolment. Please complete the verification within 24 hours. If verification is not completed, your billing preference will be changed to no bill, and you can access your bill statements via the Maxis app.

If you're currently receiving paper bills, your existing billing preference will remain unchanged.

  • If you currently pay via Direct Debit, your existing Direct Debit arrangement will not be transferred automatically to your new account.

To continue paying via Direct Debit, you'll need to register Direct Debit again after your migration is completed. You can do this conveniently through the Maxis app.

  • If you are currently under a Home Fibre contract, your existing contract period will remain unchanged.

If you are already out of contract, no new contract will be applied unless a change of Home Fibre equipment is required.

  • You'll receive an SMS confirmation once your plan update has been completed successfully.

The SMS will also include your new account number.

If your update includes a Home Fibre speed change, please allow up to 48 hours for the new speed profile to be activated.

  • Once you've received the successful update SMS, please allow up to 48 hours for the new speed profile to be activated.

If your speed has not updated after 48 hours:

    1. Turn off your router.
    2. Unplug the power source for 30 seconds.
    3. Plug it back in and restart the router.
    4. Run a speed test again.
  • Yes. You may switch to another eligible Mobile, Home Fibre or Home WiFi plan through:

    • Maxis app
    • Maxis Centre
    • Customer Service (123)

Please note that changing to a different plan may affect any applicable rebate(s) associated with this plan change.

  • You can view your updated plan, account details and billing information in the Maxis app after the migration has been completed.
