We’re proactively upgrading eligible Maxis Fibre customers on expired Maxis Fibre 30Mbps (RM89/mth), Maxis Fibre 100Mbps (RM129/mth), 300Mbps (RM149/mth), 500Mbps (RM219/mth) and 800Mbps (RM299/mth) in batches to enjoy faster speeds at no extra cost—with no contract renewal required!
How It Works:
- Proactive Batches: We’re rolling out upgrades gradually. You’ll receive an SMS before your upgrade and confirmation SMS once it’s completed—no action needed!
- Opt-In Option: Prefer to upgrade sooner? Check your eligibility and opt in anytime via Maxis app .
- No Changes: Your monthly fee remains the same, with no hidden charges or contract extensions.

Maxis customers on following Maxis Fibre plans:
- Maxis Fibre 30Mbps → Maxis Home Fibre 100Mbps
- Maxis Fibre 100Mbps → Maxis Home Fibre 300Mbps
- Maxis Fibre 300Mbps → Maxis Home Fibre 500Mbps
- Maxis Fibre 500Mbps → Maxis Home Fibre 800Mbps
- Maxis Fibre 800Mbps → Maxis Home Fibre 1Gbps
Customers below are not eligible for free speed upgrade:
- Customers which resides in areas where the network and technology infrastructure are not able to support the upgraded speed
- Customers who subscribed to other offers i.e. Pakej Rahmah
- Customers who subscribed Maxis Family Plan
- Customers who subscribed Hotlink Postpaid & Fibre 99 Plan
- Customers who subscribed Hotlink Postpaid 60 with Home Internet

Yes, your current special discount offer will be carried over to the all-new Maxis Home Fibre plan until the special discount expiry.

If you are currently still in contract, your contract period remains unchanged with no further extension.
If you are already out of contract, the contract will not be renewed upon the free speed upgrade, unless there is a change of equipment. -
If your equipment currently does not support the new speed, you can contact us to request for equipment change.
Any equipment upgrade subjects to a new 24-month contract.

The free speed upgrade offer is only available for existing customer on old Maxis Fibre plan to enjoy the all-new Maxis Home Fibre plan.

Yes, you are entitled for the free speed upgrade offer. The new Maxis Home Fibre plan will be carried over to new address subject to network and technology infrastructure readiness at your new premise.

We are performing the upgrade request by stages. Rest assured you’ll be enjoying the new speed within 14 working days after submitted opt in request.

You can use the Manage Home WiFi feature on Maxis app. It's a self-diagnostic tool for analysis, troubleshooting and optimisation of Maxis Home Wi-Fi.

Yes, you can. You can request to upgrade your Home Fibre plan on Maxis app at here.

Once you have received the successful notification, your new speed will take effect automatically within 48 hours or reboot your router to enjoy the new speed.
Please wait up to 48 hours, your new speed usually kicks in automatically within this time.
You may reboot your router, unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This often jumpstarts the new speed! -
No worries! The price you see is before discounts. Here’s the deal: Free Speed Upgrade = Instant Savings! 100Mbps/300Mbps/500Mbps plans: Get RM10 off monthly.
800Mbps plan: Enjoy a whopping RM80 off monthly.Example:
If you’re upgrading from 30Mbps (RM89/month) to 100Mbps (RM99/month):
New price after discount: RM99 – RM10 = RM89/month (same as before!).
Result: Faster speeds ✨, same price! -
Your current free Voice Unlimited plan (VOIP) will no longer be included with the new Maxis Home Fibre plan. After upgrading, you have two options:
- Pay-as-you-use: RM0.09/minute for calls to mobile/fixed lines.
- Add Voice Unlimited: Keep unlimited calls for RM10/month.
