FAQs: Your Upcoming Fibre and Bundled Plan Change

We're updating your current plan to ensure you continue enjoying uninterrupted service on a newer plan. This FAQ explains what's changing, what stays the same, and what to expect after your plan has been updated.

  • We are retiring your current plan as it is no longer available for subscription.

To ensure you continue enjoying uninterrupted service, we will automatically update your service(s) to a newer plan.

  • Current Plan New Plan
Maxis Fibre 800Mbps with Hotlink Maxis Home Fibre 800Mbps
Hotlink Postpaid and Fibre 99 Maxis Postpaid 79 Plus
Hotlink Postpaid and Fibre 99 30Mbps Maxis Home Fibre 100Mbps
  • No. Your monthly fee remains unchanged after the plan update.

  • No. Your plan will be automatically updated starting 09 Nov 2026. No action is required from you.

  • Your mobile number and existing service(s) will remain unchanged. However, your service(s) will be moved to a new account as part of this plan update. Your new account number will be shared with you via SMS once the migration has been completed successfully.

  • There may be changes during your billing cycle.

We will apply prorated billing, so you'll only be charged for the actual days of service under both your existing account and your new account.

As a result, you may see:

    • A final charge on your previous account; and
    • A prorated first bill on your new account.

Your new account will generally follow the same billing cycle as your previous account.

If you're subscribed to eBill, we'll enrol your new account using the same email address currently registered with us. You'll receive an email to verify your eBill enrolment. Please complete the verification within 24 hours. If verification is not completed, your billing preference will be changed to no bill, and you can access your bill statements via the Maxis app.

If you're currently receiving paper bills, your existing billing preference will remain unchanged, including any applicable itemised bill charges.

  • If you currently pay via Direct Debit, your existing Direct Debit arrangement will not be transferred automatically to your new account.

To continue paying via Direct Debit, you'll need to register Direct Debit again after your migration is completed. You can do this conveniently through the Maxis app.

  • You'll receive an SMS confirmation once your plan update has been completed successfully.

The SMS will also include your new account number.

  • Yes. You may switch to another eligible Mobile, Home Fibre or Home WiFi plan through:

    • Maxis app
    • Maxis Centre
    • Customer Service (123)

Please note that changing to a different plan may affect any promotion associated with this plan change.

  • You can view your updated plan, account details and billing information in the Maxis app after the migration has been completed.
