1. About Maxis ID

  • Maxis ID is a unified login system that allows Maxis subscribers to: 

    • Access self-help features on the Maxis app and Maxis Care; 
    • Make purchases on the Maxis Online Store;  
    • Owner/ principal line to manage multiple Maxis services (postpaid, broadband & fixed line) with a single Maxis ID.  
    • Manage usage and make purchase for each line.  
    • Maxis Mobile Consumer subscribers; 
    • Maxis Business Mobile users (company paid)
    • Maxis Business PIC
    • Maxis Home Fiber/broadband customers (without Maxis mobile number)
    • Non-Maxis subscribers (for online store purchases); 

2. Sign-up Process

  • You can sign up in two ways:

    1. Online at www.maxis.com.my:
      1. Click on 'Login'
      2. Choose 'Sign up for Maxis ID'
      3. Provide your mobile number and email address

    2. Via the Maxis app:
      1. Download the Maxis app from Apple App Store or Google Play
      2. Select 'Sign up for Maxis ID' before logging in
    • A valid mobile number (Maxis or from any local service provider)
    • A valid email address 
    • For Home Fiber/broadband customers: Your NRIC/ passport number and account number 

3. Account Management

  • Yes, you can manage all your Maxis services (postpaid, broadband & fixed line) with a single Maxis ID. To do this: 

    1. Ensure you've added and verified your email address 
    2. Link your services via the Maxis app or Maxis Care
    1. If this is your first time using the Maxis app, make sure you have added and verified your email address before proceeding.
    2. Open the Maxis app and navigate to "All services".
    3. Scroll down until you see the "LINK SERVICES" section.
    4. Follow the prompts to connect your other existing Maxis services 
    5. Once done, refresh the app and check "All services" again to confirm your services are now visible.


    💡 Tip: If you are still unable to view your services, please contact our support team by calling 123 from your Maxis mobile for further assistance.

  • While Maxis app and Maxis Business Hub share the same Maxis ID system, we recommend using separate email addresses for a better experience: 

    • Use your work email for Maxis Business Hub
    • Use a personal email for the Maxis app
    • Only 1 principal line can link and view all services under your registered NRIC/passport. 
    • Other principal and supplementary lines can register for Maxis ID using a unique email address for each. However, these accounts will have limited access to the following features: 
      • Own usage 
      • Purchase International Roaming passes for their own line 
      • View bill – only portion applicable for the line/ service.  
      • Retrieve PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) 

4. Password Management

  • Use this option if you forgot your password or want to change it.

    • Web: Sign In > Forgot password
    • App: Forgot password
    • Customer support assistance
  • To keep your account secure, Maxis may require you to update your password before signing in.

    This can happen due to:

    • Routine security checks
    • Long periods of inactivity
    • Other security protection measures
  • Follow the steps below to continue:

    1. Check your registered email inbox
    2. Open the password reset email from Maxis
    3. Click the reset link
    4. Create a new password
    5. Sign in again using your new password
  • Try the following:

    • Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders
    • Make sure your email address is correct and active
    • Wait a few minutes and try again
    • Request a new password reset link


    If you still do not receive the email, contact Maxis Customer Support.

  • Yes. The password reset link is valid for 24 hours.

    If the link has expired, request a new one.

    You may request a new link via:

  • No. You must create a new password before you can sign in again.

  • Use a password that:

    • Has at least 8 characters
    • Includes uppercase and lowercase letters
    • Includes numbers and symbols
    • Is unique and not used for other accounts


    Avoid using easily guessed information like your name or birthday.

  • Update your password regularly as a good security practice, or immediately if you think your account may be at risk.

    • Change your password immediately
    • Review your account details
    • Contact Maxis Customer Support if needed
  • To help keep your account secure:

    • ✓ Use a strong and unique password
    • ✓ Do not reuse passwords across multiple online accounts
    • ✓ Never share your password with anyone
    • ✓ Keep your email address and contact information up to date
    • ✓ Be cautious of phishing emails, SMS messages, or websites asking for your login credentials
    • ✓ Always sign out when using shared or public devices

5. Troubleshooting

  • If you're experiencing any problems with your Maxis ID, please:

    1. Ensure your email address is verified
    2. Check that all your services are linked correctly
    3. If issues persist, contact our customer support team at 123 from your Maxis mobile
