Frequently Asked Questions

SMS Itemised Bill

  • SMS Itemised Billing provides you with a comprehensive breakdown of your monthly usage. This includes:

    • Detailed call records (local, IDD, and roaming)
    • Mobile data consumption
    • Individual SMS transactions (sent and received)
    • Digital content purchases (apps, subscriptions, etc.)
You can receive this detailed bill either as a paper statement (mailed to your address) or as an eBill (emailed to you).
    • Bill Itemised: Shows full details of calls, data usage, roaming, and digital purchases, but excludes SMS transactions.
    • Bill Summarised: Provides only a high-level summary of charges without any usage breakdown.
All formats (SMS Itemised, Bill Itemised, Bill Summarised) are available in both paper and eBill versions.
  • As messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram have become the primary way people communicate, traditional SMS usage has significantly declined. To simplify your billing experience and focus on more relevant digital solutions, we're retiring this specific format.

    • 13 November 2025: This is the last day to subscribe to SMS Itemised Billing. After this date, new subscriptions will no longer be accepted through any channel.
    • 4 March 2026: All existing SMS Itemised Billing subscribers will be automatically transitioned to Bill Itemised.
    • Bills issued BEFORE 4 March 2026:
Contain full SMS Itemised details (calls, data, roaming, SMS transactions, digital purchases).
    • Bill issued ON/AFTER 4 March 2026:
Will be in Bill Itemised format showing:
      ✓ Calls/data/roaming/digital purchases
✓ SMS transactions from BEFORE 4 March 2026 (if within billing period)
✗ No SMS transactions from 4 March 2026 onward
    • Example: Your March bill (issued ~ 4 Mar) will include SMS usage from Feb 5 - Mar 3, but no SMS after Mar 4.
    • Your preferred delivery method (paper or eBill) remains unchanged.
    • Before 4 Mar 2026: Full SMS details in all bills
    • After 4 Mar 2026:
Historical view: Pre-4 Mar bills remain accessible in app/portal
New SMS usage: Not visible in any bills or self-service platforms
  • Absolutely not. There will be no impact on your current charges:
    • Paper bills remain at RM 10/month.
    • eBills continue to be free of charge once your email is verified.
  • Regrettably, no. This service is being fully discontinued for all customers to streamline our billing ecosystem. After 4 March 2026, Bill Itemised and Bill Summarised will be our only available formats.
