• What is Itemized Billing?

  An Itemized Bill is a detailed billing format that lists individual charges for services used, such as calls and SMS. It is available in both paper and e-bill formats. The paper version incurs a charge of RM10 per month, while the e-bill version is free if email verification is completed.

• What is Summarized Billing?

  Summarized Billing is a type of bill format that provides a concise overview of charges without detailed itemization. For paper bills, it incurs a charge of RM5, while eBills are free upon email verification.

• How do I change from itemised billing to summarized and vice versa?

  You may change your bill format anytime on Maxis app or Maxis Care.

  Maxis app:  select your service, go to Service Details, select Manage Add-Ons and select your preferred bill format under Bill Options.

  Maxis Care:  select your subscription, scroll down to Quick Links and select Manage Add-Ons and select your preferred bill format under Bill Options.

• I just received my monthly statement and why I am not able to view the call/SMS details for my own number?

  Please subscribe to Itemized Billing which allows you view the detailed listing of call/SMS charges in your monthly Statement of Account. The subscription fee is RM10 per line; If you are on eBill, the subscription fee for itemised billing is waived; if you are still on paper bill delivery, just switch your bill subscription to eBill to enjoy free itemised billing. 

• Currently I have 2 postpaid lines under my account which are subscribed to Itemized Paper Bill. If I continue the Paper Bill subscription, how much will I be charged?

  You will be charged RM10 per line, and it will be RM20 in total.

• I do not want to pay for my bill statement. What can I do?

  Very simple, just sign up for eBill via Maxis app or Maxis Care. You will enjoy monthly rebate for the bill statement charge.
