A Maxis Network Exclusive device is locked to work only with Maxis SIM cards. This allows us to offer higher discounts on iPhones and/or lower advance payments, making these devices more accessible to our customers.

You can identify a Maxis Network Exclusive device in these ways:
- The device will not activate with a non-Maxis physical SIM or eSIMCheck your phone settings:
- Check your phone settings:
- Open Settings
- Tap General, then About
- Scroll to Carrier Lock - it will display as "SIM locked"
Purchase Information

The following models which are purchased within these periods are of Maxis Network Exclusive.
Device Model Purchase Eligibility Period iPhone 13 (128GB) From 15 January 2024 onwards iPhone 14 (128GB) From 15 January 2024 onwards iPhone 15 (128GB) 23 January 2025 - 1 October 2025 Purchases made outside of these specified periods are not considered as Maxis Network Exclusive.

Usage Information

Maxis Network Exclusive devices will only work with Maxis SIM cards for only 12 months from the date of purchase.

Yes! You can still use Maxis' international roaming services when traveling abroad with your Maxis Network Exclusive device. Simply purchase our affordable data roaming passes to stay connected.
Unlocking Your Device

Your device will automatically be unlocked when:
- 12 months have passed since the date of purchase
- Your device is not flagged for fraud or reported as lost/stolen
- Your account is in good standing with all bills fully settled

Yes. You have the option to pay the full remaining Zerolution installments or fulfill your contract obligation (either 24 or 36 months), and your iPhone will be unlocked within 1-2 business days. Visit any Maxis Store for assistance with early unlocking.
Special Scenarios

No, suspending your service does not change the date when your device becomes eligible for unlocking.
Note: If your device is suspended because it was reported lost or stolen, it will not be eligible for unlocking.
