Device Reservation

  • Pre order happens before a particular model of device is launch and available. Usually a pre-order means, you complete the purchase and order, including paying for all applicable fee before checkout. The device will be shipped and delivered to you when the device is launched.

    Device Reservation is available when a particular model is out of stock. As a form of commitment for serious buyer, a reservation fee of RM300 is applicable. With reservation, committed customers will be informed to complete the ordering process when the model is replenished.

    The reservation will be made available for customer when a “pre-order” model when it is sold out during pre-order period.

  • Device reservation is available for both new and existing Maxis subscriber; Only ONE reservation or unit is allowed per NRIC at any one time.

  • Device reservation fee of RM300 is collectable at the point of reservation and it will be credited to your Maxis account, and it will be reflected in your bill as bill payment upon the device purchase or cancellation. Device reservation fee is not refundable via cash or bank transfer.

  • The device reservation is NOT TRANSFERABLE to another Maxis subscriber.

  • The device reservation is NOT TRANSFERABLE to another Maxis mobile number or Maxis subscriber.

  • Reservation is only available device packages which on Maxis Online Store, which are limited to Normal Device Contract and Zerolution.

  • There are a few reasons why reservation is limited to one unit per customer. We want to give as many customers as possible the opportunity to get the new device of their choice.

    At any one time, customer is allowed to buy one device on contract.

    1. Log in to www.maxis.com.my 
    2. Select your preferred model, If there is no available stock, reservation will be made available. (Just purchase it if the stock is available)
    3. Upon successful reservation, you will receive a confirmation email; after which please watch out for ready for purchase email when the model is available.
  • No, device reservation can be made online only at Maxis Online Store, www.maxis.com.my.

  • Device Reservation confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email with your reservation details once reservation is successfully made.

    Device is ready for purchase: When your device model is replenished, we will notify you via SMS and followed by an email with a dedicated link for you to place the order. Be sure that place your order within 48 hours before the dedicated link expires.

  • If you would like to change of device model, capacity or colour for your reserved unit; these are not allowed. If you insist, you may cancel your reservation and place a new reservation with RM300 if your preferred model is also not available.

  • Please do not complete the purchase and let dedicated link expire after 48 hours.

  • You have 48 hours to complete your purchase. When your device model is replenished, we will notify you via SMS and followed by an email with a dedicated link for you to place the order. Be sure that place your order within 48 hours before the dedicated link expires.

  • You may make device reservation on Maxis Online Store;

    When the device is ready for purchase, complete your purchase order online and select to collect your device at your preferred Maxis Centre.

    Collection at Maxis Centre must be made within 7 working days.

  • No. your device reservation fee will be credited into your Maxis account as bill payment upon purchase order. You need to pay the device upfront or advance (if applicable) before checkout from the purchase order.

  • The device reservation option will be given to reserve a unit of device with a reservation fee of RM300 when customer's preferred device is sold out.

    With reservation, device allocation will be prioritized for customer’s purchase however there is no guarantee on when it will be available for purchase. We will notify you immediately once the phone is ready for purchase ordering before it launches.
