In supporting the platform, Maxis provided communications support via 500,000 eSMS to residents in Selangor over a duration of one month during Ramadan.
“We applaud the Selangor Government’s efforts in helping businesses thrive especially in these difficult circumstances through the innovative PLATS. With SMEs being such an important pillar of growth to the country, it was critical that they are enabled by technology to become more agile and adaptable in order to keep their businesses running particularly in these extraordinary times. With our humble contribution, we hope that it provided the added convenience to business owners in Selangor, and that it brought the atmosphere and tradition of Ramadan bazaar into homes,” said Mariam Bevi Batcha, Maxis’ Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.
