Hotlink And Astro Bring Exclusive Episodes Of MeleTOP And Hlive On IGTV And Facebook Live


Hotlink is partnering with Astro to bring customers exclusive extended episodes of the popular shows MeleTOP and Hlive on the newly launched Instagram TV (IGTV) and Facebook Live.

Beginning 17 July, viewers can watch three extended episodes each of MeleTOP and Hlive on Hotlink’s IGTV account as well as Facebook Live via Astro Gempak & Hotlink’s Facebook page, immediately following the shows’ regular TV broadcast on Astro RIA. This also marks the first time any Malaysian-produced content will be featured on IGTV.

“With the growth of video consumption on mobile, it’s clear that customers are enjoying exciting content on popular platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Through our partnership with Astro, we are bringing new and innovative ways to watch video content, especially on the new IGTV. And with the No. 1 4G network in Malaysia, viewers can look forward to the best viewing experience with Hotlink,” said Navin Manian, Maxis’ Head of Prepaid.

MeleTOP and Hlive, which feature the latest in entertainment news, are two of Astro’s most popular shows, pulling in millions of viewers every week. MeleTOP airs every Tuesday night at 9 pm while Hlive airs every Monday through Saturday at 8.30 pm, both on Channel 123 HD and Channel 104 SD.
