Helping To Refurbish A Damaged Home In Tuaran

Strong winds blew the roof away and damaged Nurhaibah's home in Kampung Dunggang, Tuaran - during which her toddler Nurhasyikin Jainuddin was swept away in her cradle and injured in the process. When we have heard the news, we decided to step in to help. Working with local contractors, we helped to refurbish her home by reinforcing the beams, pillars, roof framework and underside footing as well as repainting it. The work was completed on 1 October 2015. We also had our regional team in Sabah organising a 'Gotong Royong' session to help clean the surrounding areas.
