To switch from prepaid to postpaid, you need:
- An active prepaid line
- No outstanding SOS top-ups
- Must be 18 years and above and meet all eligibility requirements of Maxis Postpaid.

If you are using a 4G SIM card, you will not need to change it during the conversion process. Our store representatives will assist you with this. To check, just dial *100*8*5# from your phone.

You can switch to postpaid through any of these channels:

The conversion from prepaid to postpaid happens within minutes with no expected service interruption.

No, there are no conversion fees when switching from prepaid to postpaid.
After Conversion

As a goodwill gesture, we will convert your unused prepaid credit and transfer it to your new postpaid account. This credit will appear on your first postpaid bill.

Any existing prepaid add-ons will no longer be applicable after conversion to postpaid. You'll need to subscribe to postpaid add-ons if required.

No, you are not obligated to any contract for a basic prepaid to postpaid conversion.
You will only be bound by a contract if you sign up for additional packages that include devices, content, or services where contract terms are clearly indicated.

An advance payment may be applicable depending on your selected rate plan. For foreign customers, a security deposit is required.

Your new postpaid billing cycle will be automatically assigned by our system after conversion.
