About Maxis Network Exclusive Devices

  • A Maxis Network Exclusive device is locked to work only with Maxis SIM cards. This allows us to offer higher discounts on iPhones and/or lower advance payments, making these devices more accessible to our customers.

  • You can identify a Maxis Network Exclusive device in these ways:

    • The device will not activate with a non-Maxis physical SIM or eSIMCheck your phone settings:
    • Check your phone settings:
      1. Open Settings
      2. Tap General, then About
      3. Scroll to Carrier Lock - it will display as "SIM locked"


    Purchase Information

  • Currently, the following devices are available as Maxis Network Exclusive:

    • iPhone 13 128GB (purchased from January 15, 2024)
    • iPhone 14 128GB (purchased from January 15, 2024)
    • iPhone 15 128GB (purchased from January 23, 2025)

    Usage Information

  • Maxis Network Exclusive devices will only work with Maxis SIM cards for only 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Yes! You can still use Maxis' international roaming services when traveling abroad with your Maxis Network Exclusive device. Simply purchase our affordable data roaming passes to stay connected.


    Unlocking Your Device

  • Your device will automatically be unlocked when:

    • 12 months have passed since the date of purchase
    • Your device is not flagged for fraud or reported as lost/stolen
    • Your account is in good standing with all bills fully settled
  • Yes. You have the option to pay the full remaining Zerolution installments or fulfill your contract obligation (either 24 or 36 months), and your iPhone will be unlocked within 1-2 business days. Visit any Maxis Store for assistance with early unlocking.


    Special Scenarios

  • No, suspending your service does not change the date when your device becomes eligible for unlocking.

    Note: If your device is suspended because it was reported lost or stolen, it will not be eligible for unlocking.
