Maxis supports hospitals with connectivity needs

  • Free Fixed Wireless Broadband, Wireless Broadband and Hotlink Postpaid Flex SIM card and devices for Sungai Buloh Hospital and Kuala Lumpur Hospital
  • Further strengthen network performance at the hospitals for benefit of all users
  • Maxis remains committed to supporting the Government in undertaking measures during this difficult time

As the nation continues its fight against COVID-19, Maxis has committed to support the Ministry of Health through essential connectivity needs for Sungai Buloh Hospital and Hospital Kuala Lumpur. The initiatives include providing Fixed Wireless Broadband and Wireless Broadband at both hospitals, as well as mobile communication including devices to support the additional communication requirements during COVID-19. In addition, Maxis is also investing to further strengthen the network performance coverage at these hospitals for the benefit of all users at these locations.

“Internet connectivity is extremely important for our doctors and medical teams, as well as frontline workers in hospital command and operations centers, temporary and emergency wards and rooms, as we work together to combat this pandemic. We appreciate Maxis’ support in helping us with our hospital communication needs as we face COVID-19 challenges. All parties must work together to break the chain of COVID-19. We must win!” said Dato’ Sri Dr. Adham bin Baba, Minister of Health, Malaysia.
