Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Postpaid 98 RM20 x 24 Months Rebate Offer

    1. The Campaign: Maxis Postpaid 98 RM20 x 24 Months Rebate Offer
    2. You: Person(s) who sign(s) up for any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s) with a Participating Mobile Device(s) (where applicable) under this Campaign.
    3. Participating Maxis Plan(s):
      1. Maxis Postpaid 98 or Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre 98; or
      2. Maxis Postpaid 98 or Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre 98 with a Device Contract or a Maxis Zerolution Contract.
    4. Participating Mobile Device(s): Refers to the Mobile Devices(s) which Maxis determines to be eligible for the Campaign and may vary from time to time.
    5. Offer: Bill rebate of RM20 for a period of twenty-four (24) months.
    6. Campaign Period: 14th January 2023 to 14th July 2023 (both dates inclusive).
    7. The Campaign and use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-consumer/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Postpaid 98 RM20 x 24 Months Rebate Offer (“SSTC”), Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) at www.maxis.com.my/FUP and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
    8. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    9. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    10. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Campaign and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s) at  www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
    1. You must be a new or existing customer of Maxis who: (i) is at least 18 years of age; and (ii) ports-in to Maxis for any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s); or (iii) signs up for a new line for any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s).
    2. You are ineligible to participate in the Campaign if:
      • you have any outstanding payments with us; and/or
      • you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    3. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility to redeem the Offer is subject to our absolute discretion.
    1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with Participating Maxis Plan(s) both during and after the Campaign Period. Charges exclude applicable taxes.
    1. To enjoy this Offer, you are required to sign up for any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s) with or without a Participating Mobile Device(s) during the Campaign Period.
    2. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the relevant Participating Maxis Plan(s) which you signed up for. In this regard:-
    1. Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions of this Campaign and successful registration of any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s), you will enjoy the following offer:

    Bill rebate of RM20 for a period of twenty-four (24) months.
    • The Offer is available to all new activations on any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s) or any Participating Maxis Plan(s) with any of the Participating Mobile Device(s).
    • Only one (1) Offer is valid per each new activation of any of the Participating Maxis Plan(s).
    • The Offer will be applied to your bill (excluding applicable tax) for a period of twenty-four (24) months and you will be able to check and verify bill rebate in your monthly bill which can be viewed in the Maxis app.
    1. During the Campaign Period, you shall NOT:
      1. terminate or suspend the Participating Maxis Plan(s) which you have registered;
      2. downgrade the Participating Maxis Plan(s);
      3. change or transfer ownership of the Participating Mobile Device(s) which you have purchased to another person; and/or
      4. change or transfer ownership of the registered Participating Maxis Plan(s) to another person.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 18 above occur, you will no longer be entitled to the Offer.
    1. The Offer is not redeemable and not refundable/exchangeable for cash.
    2. Maxis reserves the right to forfeit the Offer if our attempt to fulfil the Offer fails for any reason whatsoever.
    3. Maxis’ decision on the selection of Participants who are eligible and entitled to the Offer shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal at any time during or after the Campaign Period.
    4. Maxis shall not be liable to the Participants or any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a Participant or such other party as a result of participation or non-participation in the Campaign or as a result of any act or omission on Maxis’ part.
    5. The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
