eSIM Profile

I accidentally reset my eSIM profile. How do I restore my eSIM profile?

You can always download your eSIM profile again by scanning the QR code on the eSIM activation card that came with the kit. We advise that you keep the eSIM activation kit for future use.

Why do I need a Maxis eSIM profile on my device?

Maxis’ eSIM profile is the equivalent to your conventional SIM, containing all personal SIM information. This eSIM profile allows the device to connect to our mobile network to send and receive calls, SMS, and access apps, independently without the need for Bluetooth pairing to your smartphone. 


I cannot find my eSIM activation kit/card. How do I download my eSIM profile again?

You can visit any participating Maxis outlet to request for a new eSIM activation kit/card. Prevailing charges for SIM card replacement may apply. The mobile number will be maintained as the same.


What should I do if the download of my eSIM profile failed?

You can attempt to download again by scanning the QR code on the eSIM activation card. If problem persists, please walk in to Maxis store for assistance.
