Maxis customers can now use the following eSIM enabled devices:

Maxis eSIM is available for all Maxis mobile postpaid customers including Hotlink Postpaid Flex and Corporate plans. It is available for new line registrations and existing customers.
Maxis eSIM is available at all Maxis Centres, Maxis Exclusive Partners and Maxis Online Store (for new device purchase only).
The eSIM is like any other SIM cards hence it is not tied to any contracts. However if you signed up on a new device package with Maxis, you will be tied to a contract.
All you have to do is walk in to any participating outlets and request for an eSIM for your eSIM enabled device. The eSIM device must be supported by Maxis.
There is no specific rateplan for eSIM. You can use eSIM with any current plans of Maxis Postpaid Plan, Hotlink Postpaid and Corporate Plans.
The eSIM needs to be activated via an eSIM enabled device supported by Maxis. An eSIM activation kit will be provided upon request. Within the activation kit, you will find an activation card which contains a QR code needed for the set-up.
For Huawei Watch - Compatibility between the watch and your mobile phone is subject to Huawei’s specifications. Depending on its compatibility, additional app plug-ins may be required. Please check this with Huawei for further information.
Yes it can, if your device is among the list of supported eSIM devices. Please walk in to any Maxis stores. Do note that the usual replacement SIM charge may apply.
You can always download your eSIM profile again by scanning the QR code on the eSIM activation card that came with the kit. We advise that you keep the eSIM activation kit for future use.

Maxis’ eSIM profile is the equivalent to your conventional SIM, containing all personal SIM information. This eSIM profile allows the device to connect to our mobile network to send and receive calls, SMS, and access apps, independently without the need for Bluetooth pairing to your smartphone.
You can visit any participating Maxis outlet to request for a new eSIM activation kit/card. Prevailing charges for SIM card replacement may apply. The mobile number will be maintained as the same.
You can attempt to download again by scanning the QR code on the eSIM activation card. If problem persists, please walk in to Maxis store for assistance.
You should delete your eSIM profile by resetting your eSIM and terminating your subscription associated to the device. If your device has an active eSIM profile, future usage incurred on the device will still be billed to you.
For eSIM, any change in device will require a new QR code (SIM replacement treatment). In this case, you may use the dedicated nano-SIM slot available in your mobile device.
Yes, you can request to change to the standard SIM card at any Maxis outlet. Prevailing charges for SIM card may apply.
