Having been associated with the festival since 2008, Hotlink is once again proud to play a role as exclusive sponsor at the festival which will take place from 26 until 28 January. This year, visitors to Thaipusam at Batu Caves will also be greeted with a specially designed peacock-inspired arch and colourful decorations in the vicinity.

T. Kugan, Maxis' Head of Product, Device, Innovation & Roaming, said, "We are proud to once again be associated with the single largest Hindu festival of its kind in Malaysia. Our participation gives us the opportunity to reach out to and further strengthen our affinity with the Indian community during this significant celebration in their calendar. We also hope that our sponsorship this year will further add to the excitement of the celebrations."

Attendees at the event will also be entertained with a concert to be held on 26 and 27 January, featuring performances from local and international Indian artistes as well as classical dance performances. Local Tamil radio station THR Raaga will also be present with live cross overs.
