What is Test My Home Wi-Fi ?

It's a self-diagnostic feature which is able to analyse, troubleshoot and optimise your Maxis Home Fibre Wi-Fi.
 

What can I test with Test My Home Wi-Fi?

This feature enables you to check your Maxis Home Fibre's Wi-Fi connectivity and optimize your connection for better speed. You’ll be able to understand your connection better as you’ll have information on

  1. All your devices connected to your home network and the connection quality
  2. What are the issues in your home network and some tips on how to resolve them

The device connected to my home network is not the same every time I do the test.

The device connected will differ every time you do the test as it depends on what devices are connected at that point of time when the test is done.
 


What is the purpose of the scheduled reboot?

Rebooting your router regularly would ensure optimal performance of the router for better WiFi experience. We would encourage you to schedule your reboot sessions.
 


Will I get a notification when the periodic reboot happens?

No. No notification would be sent prior to the scheduled reboot. However, you would be able to check when you have scheduled your reboot in the app..
 


Is the change of network SSID and password immediate?

Yes. The network SSID and password will take effect immediately.
