Maxis Is Asia’s Largest Samsung Business Ambassador

schedule 15 Dec 2017

Maxis and Samsung are collaborating to provide Enterprise grade mobility services to Malaysian businesses. Maxis will become the first mobile telco across Asia to be part of Samsung Business Ambassador (SBA) programme. This means that Maxis’ enterprise sales team will be trained to become mobility solution experts and trusted advisors to businesses in Malaysia.

The partnership with Samsung B2B team also includes Maxis being appointed as the first Malaysian telco to directly offer Samsung Knox solutions, a set of software suites to manage, secure and customise mobile devices for different business needs and industry applications.
Through the collaboration, Maxis will be able to offer businesses the following benefits:

  • Relevant recommendations - Equipped with the knowledge, tools, training and technical know-how from Samsung, the Maxis sales team will be able to provide the best recommendations, therefore making it easier for businesses to make sound decisions on what they need.
  • Business efficiency – With Knox, businesses have the capability to remotely configure and manage a huge number of mobile devices used in operations at multiple places. This is important in enabling a mobile workforce. Securing the mobile device into kiosk mode which means restricting the use and access to only work-related apps, can also enhance workforce productivity.
  • Security - Security ranks high in businesses operations today. Particularly with Knox Solutions, businesses can be assured of the management and security for their mobile devices. Some of the services that businesses can enjoy include protecting company apps, content and data.

“As a Samsung Business Ambassador, businesses can be confident that Maxis is providing the best expert advice to meet their specific needs. And with Knox, we can offer our customers a better way to manage security and increase productivity. This partnership reinforces our position as the integrated solutions provider of choice for businesses in Malaysia,” said Loong Tuck Weng, Maxis’ Head of Enterprise.

“Global companies including Malaysia’s top telco firms today have put Samsung at the centre of their mobile strategy, and Samsung devices as well as solutions have become essential tools for the modern and mobile workforce – transforming the way we work and communicate. Together with Maxis, we are confident that Samsung KNOX Solutions will serve as the ultimate business tool so Malaysian businesses can increase efficiency, maximise potentials and create value with the devices they already love," said David Kim, Vice President of B2B Sales Group, Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics.
