Maxis Berhad (Maxis) delivered a strong performance for the first quarter ended 31 March 2020, driven by a steady core mobile business and solid convergence growth. The Company reported steady EBITDA although core performance was impacted slightly by early Covid-19, while maintaining an industry-leading EBITDA margin and a healthy Profit After Tax (PAT).
Season 1 of #CikguCikguUKM for Maxis eKelas is now Live in Youtube!
Progressing from the MoU signed with UKM in July 2019 for content co-creation, Maxis eKelas has launched the first in 3 seasons of educational videos called the #CikguCikguUKM on our Youtube channel.
Produced by 32 post-graduate students from UKM’s Faculty of Education, they worked within three months to produce 39 fully animated original videos covering eight topics in Science, Maths and English. These videos are specifically designed to assist eKelas students understand selected topics in these three core subjects of Maxis eKelas.
Through a journey of ideation and story development, sketching, scripting and animating in groups of 4-5 students, the videos, fully produced with iPads as part of the requirements, covered topics such as blood circulation and respiratory systems for Science, integer and probability for Maths, as well as Museum of Natural Disasters and Botty the Robot’s Wild Weathers Adventures for English.
