Maxis Cares - School Uniforms For Students Affected By Flood In Rantau Panjang

While the flood situation in the East Coast has improved, but for families affected by the flood, getting up on their feet again may not be as easy. On 11 Jan, Maxis team was at Kampung Gual Tok Deh and Kampung Gual Periok in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan to contribute school uniforms to 200 students from two schools. Melvin Jeffrine Mojinun, Head of Region, East Coast was on the ground to give out the uniforms joined by the Head of Villages, Head of Parents Teachers Association and Headmasters from the two villages. We also had some of our dealers and distributors from Kota Bharu to help at the event. During the flood itself, Maxis response team has in place several mitigation measures and ever ready to ensure that connectivity is restored so that flood victims could stay connected with their loved ones during critical times.

Telecommunications operators extend use of free 1GB productivity Internet offer to 24 hours

1 July 2020 – Telecommunications operators Celcom Axiata Berhad (“Celcom”), Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (“Digi”), Maxis Berhad (“Maxis”), U Mobile Sdn Bhd (“U Mobile”), and Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) through unifi mobile, are now enhancing connectivity support for the rakyat’s work and learning needs by extending access to the daily free 1GB Productivity Internet offer to 24 hours. This will be effective from 1 July 2020 until 31 December 2020, or customers can refer to their respective service providers for effective start dates. Previously, access to the daily free 1GB internet was available from 8am and 6pm.
