Hotlink Celebrates Pesta Kaamatan With Sabah Customers


Kaamatan is a time of celebration, especially for Sabahans, and Hotlink is pleased to be part of this festive occasion by partnering with Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) as one of the main sponsors for Pesta Kaamatan Peringkat Negeri Sabah 2016, happening from 21 May to 31 May at the KDCA Cultural Village in Penampang. Hotlink is also the official sponsor for the Sugandoi singing competition, which took place on 21 May, and the Unduk Ngadau beauty pageant, scheduled to be held on 31 May.

The grand prize winner of the Sugandoi 2016 singing competition was Mohd Rifanzie Ruji from Labuan, with his rendition of Pombolutan Au Kosili Piusan and Haro Koginawaan Nu. The runner-up was Darrel Reitz Vidy from Keningau, and the third place winner was Debra Paimin from Ranau. The top 3 winners each received a smartphone and cash prize from Hotlink.

Maxis launches three new scholarships in building future technology and innovation leaders

In its commitment to building tech-savvy and forward-thinking leaders, Maxis has launched three new scholarships to support the aspirations of bright and deserving young individuals. Candidates can apply for the Maxis Women in Tech Undergraduate 2020 Scholarship, Maxis Tech Undergraduate 2020 Scholarship and the Maxis Young Leaders Undergraduate 2020 Scholarship. Due to the overwhelming response received from applicants, the initial submission deadline of 31 August has now been extended to 14 September to allow more students to apply.
